Actually you said Peter had a vision of grafting in the gentiles. His vision had nothing to do with the gentiles. It had to do with the concept of clean and unclean being over. Gentiles were considered unclean and it divided them from the Jews.
Act 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

It was all about the Gentiles.

Ok here is a list of foods we can and can't eat. If God don't want us to eat certain foods that He Hates? then why are we selling these certain foods in food markets and retail?

Deuteronomy 14: 3-21.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Don’t eat anything the Lord hates. [SUP]
4 [/SUP]Here are the only animals you can eat. You can eat oxen, sheep, goats, [SUP]
5 [/SUP]deer, gazelles, roe deer, wild goats, ibexes, antelope and mountain sheep.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]You can eat any animal that has hoofs that are separated completely in two. But it must also chew the cud.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Some animals only chew the cud. Others only have hoofs that are completely separated in two. The camel, rabbit and rock badger chew the cud, but they don’t have hoofs that are completely separated. So you can’t eat them. They are not “clean” for you.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Pigs aren’t “clean” for you either. They have hoofs that are completely separated, but they don’t chew the cud. So don’t eat their meat. And don’t touch their dead bodies.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Many creatures live in water. You can eat all of the ones that have fins and scales. [SUP]
10 [/SUP]But don’t eat anything that doesn’t have fins and scales. It isn’t “clean” for you.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]You can eat any “clean” bird. [SUP]
12 [/SUP]But there are many birds you can’t eat. They include eagles, vultures, and black vultures. [SUP]
13 [/SUP]They include red kites, black kites and all kinds of falcons. [SUP]
14 [/SUP]They include all kinds of ravens. [SUP]
15 [/SUP]They include horned owls, screech owls, gulls and all kinds of hawks. [SUP]
16 [/SUP]They include little owls, great owls, white owls [SUP]
17 [/SUP]and desert owls. They include ospreys and cormorants. [SUP]
18 [/SUP]They include storks and all kinds of herons. They also include hoopoes and bats.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]All insects that fly together in groups are “unclean” for you. So don’t eat them.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]But you can eat any creature that has wings and is “clean.”
[SUP]21 [/SUP]If you find something that’s already dead, don’t eat it. You can give it to an outsider who is living in any of your towns. He can eat it. Or you can sell it to someone who is from another country. But you are a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself.

Don’t cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
The Laws of Moses was to perfect the outwardly appearance, but it couldn't perfect the inwardly appearance. That is why I had stated in a post that a person should eat 100% organic kosher foods, well back in them days the foods didn't need to be organic because it was already organic and the water was natural. But if a person eat this way that they will never get sick like they have had been getting and stay youthful. But now God is just perfecting the inner so that the outward can be perfect.

Deuteronomy 34:7
Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.

Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

Deuteronomy 5:33
Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

Genesis 12:11
As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, “I know what a beautiful woman you are.

Genesis 39:6
So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome,

Matthew 23:25
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

Christ Jesus did not abolish the Law or do away with it, redtent you are correct!
But, Christ did abolish the law and the prophets in Himself!
He fulfilled the Law and the Prophets, they are no more!

They were absorbed in Him!
Therefore we have our life and being, IN CHRIST!
And yes the OT is Scripture that we should study, I agree!
Are you a career politician? This sounds like something I hear daily in both houses of congress.

some times i'm afraid to say things to people, because i don't want people thinking why hasn't the Almighty did that for them, i don't want to be a stumbling block. in defense of the health laws, i can say i havn't been to a doctor in 33 years, so the health laws must have benefits. i have thrown my back a few times, but that was from over doing it, not health. The Almighty has His way of telling me slow down, and take it easy.

I agree, pig, lobster, vultures were never meant to be food (received) they are for garbage disposal, one would have to not read the OT to ignore this fact.
And that is EXACTLY what happens.

As missionaries, would any one here refuse the food offered them from an inquiring family.?
Would you let your petty food regulations get between you and the eternal well being of another's soul?
Well, as a missionary, if the local custom was wife swapping, would you offend the newly enquiring by refusing? You gotta stand for somethin' or you'll fall for anything. - Aaron Tippin

So God erred when He gave us the new testament? What you are saying is blasphemous. The scripture is crystal clear. I neither twisted nor misquoted. You seriously need to re-examine whether or not you truly want to follow God. If you discount plain scripture, which you are doing, then you are rejecting Him.
What you are saying is that God erred when He gave the Laws of the O.T. He had to come and do away with them and give new ones? If this is what you really believe, how do you know He got it right this time? Maybe He will have to make another change... and another, and another...

Yes locusts and honey (bee vomit?) is kosher and sustained Jon the baptist. I love honey and I would not mind eating a locust, though I doubt I would want seconds.
So, you are more righteous and know better than John the Baptist?

Mat 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

i was on the streets at age of 15, sometimes hunting food, one day me and a friend was out hunting, and didn't see much, my friend must have been hungrier than i was, and shot a vulture, it was huge until he cleaned it. i was like you are actually going to eat that, and he did, i went without. a couple weeks later i was a vegetarian.

Then wouldn't you be disobeying your Lord?

Luke 10:8 Whenever you enter a town and the people welcome you, eat what is set before you.
Nightshade mushrooms? How about giant cane toad or poison dart frog?

I certainly would eat whatever is set before for the sake of the gospel. We are not required to eat kosher as God made that very clear in a vison to Peter.

I would not eat human flesh though. I find that to be revolting and sinful. Everything else is fair game.
Why not? If you were a missionary to a cannabalistic tribe and the put human flesh before you, you should eat it. After all...

Luke 10:8 Whenever you enter a town and the people welcome you, eat what is set before you.

It is amazing how many Christians are being snared by the demonic lie that we must also obey the Mosaic laws. When we believe a lie as truth it can become a demonic stronghold that becomes difficult to get free of.
Yeah, some of 'em musta read something like this...

1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

By the way, how'd that work out for Saul?

It doesn't matter what I think, or what makes sense to me...

Lev 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
Lev 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Lev 11:23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

God knows much better than I do what is good to put into my body and what is not.

[SUP]Matthew18 [/SUP]For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook will pass from the Law until all things are accomplished.

Has the earth and sky passed away/perished???:)

We can always find an excuse not to obey, we can find many excuses that seem right to us. But there is one reason to obey. Love.

Forever means forever.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

So if I fulfill (fill full) a glass with water, the glass no longer has any use? Why not read the rest of the passage?

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

And Christ went on to say...

Luk 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

A tittle or superscript dot[1] is a small distinguishing mark, such as a diacritic or the dot on a lowercase i or j. (from Wikipedia)

So it is easier for the universe to pass away than a dot over and i or j to pass from the Law. OK, I walked out of my house this morning putting my feet down on the earth and I looked up into the sky. Pretty sure they are still there, so I know the Law is still in force.
