You make a good point. However ;) You are assumming they are hebrew scholars. The manufacturers could be misinformed such as the "conspiracy theorists" but the intent is still there. Or that was just their way of translating it plus it worked for their logo. I may have missed something in your post, but did you mention the cross that looks similar to an ankh? Or how about the slogan "Unleash the Beast"? Is beast just a synonym for Monster? A lot of coincidences. As far as conspiracies there are numerous, such as Gulf of Tonkin that have been proven. And fyi US & UK studies: those who “buy’ mainstream ‘lies’ are the ‘crazies’ – conspiracy theorists are ‘saner’, reflect ‘conventional wisdom”[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]The term was invented and put into wide circulation by the CIA to smear and defame people questioning the JFK assassination! Enjoyed your post, now excuse me while I go fix my tin foil hat. :)[/FONT]
recently there have been a whole lot of false teachings being pushed in the bible study room...ranging from laughable to disturbing...in all cases the number of people buying into these teachings is troubling... i want to address some of those false teachings with a few forum threads...

i will start with one teaching that is just plain ridiculous...

it has been claimed in the bible study room that the logo for the 'monster' energy drink is actually the biblical number of the beast written in hebrew...

this is what a monster energy drink looks like...the logo in question is the three 'claw marks' on the can...
View attachment 61763

it has been claimed that the three claw marks are actually the hebrew letter vav written three times...the hebrew letter vav looks like this...
View attachment 61764
here is a chart showing the rest of the hebrew alphabet for reference...
View attachment 61772

traditionally each hebrew letter has been assigned a numerical value...after reaching the last letter of the hebrew alphabet you can write higher numbers using combinations of hebrew letters... here is a chart of the numerical values of the hebrew letters...
View attachment 61765

as shown in the chart the number six is represented by the hebrew letter vav... it has been claimed that the three so called 'vavs' in the monster energy drink logo would translate to 6-6-6...the number of the beast in revelation...

but actually this notion is completely false...because the biblical number of the beast is not just the digit six repeated six times...it is actually the number six hundred and sixty-six...which would be represented by very different hebrew letters...

this can be seen from the original greek text of revelation...
revelation 13:18..."Ode he sophia estin. Ho echon noun psephisato ton arithmon tou theriou, arithmos gar anthropou estin, kai ho arithmos autou hexakosioi hexekonta hex."

'hexakosioi' is greek for 'six hundred'...'hexekonta' is greek for 'sixty'...and 'hex' is greek for 'six'...so the number of the beast is six hundred and sixty-six...

older bible translations such as the king james version show this clearly by using the phrase 'six hundred threescore and six'...
revelation 13:18..."Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

looking at the chart of the numeric values of the hebrew alphabet...the actual number of the beast which is six hundred and sixty-six would be represented by the letters 'tav resh samekh vav'...-not- 'vav vav vav'...and 'tav resh samekh vav' would have -no resemblance whatsoever- to the logo on the monster energy drink...

so the logo on the monster energy drink is -not- the biblical mark of the beast in hebrew...the teaching is false...

I have realized that this site is full of nonsense. There are some people here that are solid Christians , but many that are just trying to stir up nonsense. Remember the thread about taking the mark of the beast if you chipped your pets? Goofy

So there !
Rachespeaks spoke this thread well.
Why would we even want to make that kind of connection, the Monster company did their energy drink with intent to glorify the number of the beast.
Like milady says, the sign for '666' is of different origin than what some think, the Hebrew # would be a different character(s) for that 'M' that looks like the number of the beast.

that painting wasn't even produced by the monster energy drink company at all...

it is actually a painting by wesley eggebrecht...who seems to specialize in creepy looking artwork that often incorporates items from pop culture and modern consumer culture...kind of like a dark twisted andy warhol...

eggebrecht classifies this painting as 'personal work' in his portfolio...meaning he produced it on his own initiative and for his own enjoyment...and his linkedin profile indicates that he has never done work for the monster energy drink company...

so the monster energy drink company had nothing to do with this painting...you are accusing them based on something they are not even responsible for...

that took me about ten minutes to find out...

the 'maybe the company intended to write 666 but they weren't hebrew scholars so they did it wrong' excuse just doesn't work...because basically if you know enough about hebrew to write it wrong then you almost certainly know enough about hebrew to write it correctly too...i mean you can get the information from the very same chart...

also...what you compare to an ankh looks nothing like an ankh...if it looks like anything at all it would be a greek letter phi...

Maybe you are doomed.

By purchasing the product, you are literally offering up
money to Satan, whether you are conscious of it or not.

It's blatantly obvious that the product packaging and
marketing strategy is satanic and openly mocking scripture.

Their slogan "Unleash the Beast" is a direct reference to Revelation 20:7, so it isn't a
stretch to surmise that their logo itself is a cleverly disguised occultic symbol of "666".

Examine their marketing campaigns.
They profusely use the one thing that all men want most.
They have an entire troupe of harlots seducing men away from purity.
They're obviously not the only company to use this sort of
thing, but they are the only company I can think of that is so
blatantly satanic about it, and whose marketing is so widespread.

Would you "love" a good tasting product if it were called "666 Power Beverage",
and it employed the tag-line "Release Satan!"

You probably wouldn't, so marketers don't dare take it that far.

Monsters and "The Beast" are bad things,
but you have accepted them as good.

Isaiah 5:
[SUP]20[/SUP] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
[SUP]21[/SUP] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
[SUP]22[/SUP] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
[SUP]23[/SUP] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
[SUP]24[/SUP] Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Satan is using "energy" drinks in general to corrupt individual souls.
Each of these examples has its own satanic connotations:

energy-drinks.jpg

Redbull has overtly satanic marketing and imagery of their own.
A red "bull"? Satan is imagined as a red monstrous man with horns. Bulls have horns.
It gives you "wings"? Satan is fallen angel.
People associate angels with having wings, whether they really do or not.
Their commercials have sinful innuendo throughout.

You just sit right back in your comfy chair of arrogant
ignorance and mock me all day long. I don't mind.

Agreed 100 over 100.

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

666 is the number of a man. It identifies a particular man, not a soft drink and it is not the mark. The mark of the Beast is not his number.

I see your eagerness to promote and defend Monster energy drinks, but I could never come close to imagining why, I just dunno. If I posted some of their actual sexually perverted ads then I would be banned from the site probably. Fight the good fight and you won't go astray.

i am neither promoting nor defending monster energy drinks...i am only insisting on -truth-

personally i think the monster energy drinks are probably very bad for your health...anything with that much sugar and caffeine and other stimulants can't possibly be good for you...

but unlike some people i don't feel the need to -make stuff up- to have a reason to not like monster energy drinks...

It actually is how the angels write the mark of the beast on the wicked ones..
same letters.
