If I understand correctly, you're asking what the world's sin would be? I would say, if that's the question, that their ultimate sin is rejecting Christ as their Savior. All other sins fall under that rebellion, ultimately. I believe that it is truly what we do with Christ in our lives, the ultimate sacrifice, that determines our fate. Death abounds in the form of spiritual death and physical death, though the soul lives on. Eternal separation from God, cast in the lake of fire, is the ultimate end for any who reject the salvation offered by Christ Jesus.

We will have to give an accounting for all we did and did not do and all we said, yet those that have accepted Christ, daily living for Him, harkening to the correction of the Father and the guidance of Holy Spirit, are justified and cleansed and redeemed but those that do not live for Christ are still guilty of their sins.

whatever the Holy Spirit convicts them (us) of.

primarily pride & idolatry -- i think almost every sin boils down to this, which is to disobey the greatest commandments:

"love the Lord thy God with all your heart" -- to do else is idolatry

"love thy neighbor as thyself" -- to do else is pride

The context of the wages of sin is death is in reference to a believer who should follow the path of sanctification that leads to eternal life. When we sin, we reap death, when we accept the free gift we have eternal life. Although this truth applies to an unbeliever, the context of this verse is to a Believing Christian.

Stop earning the wage of your sin, death. Accept the free gift, progress in your sanctification and receive life, eternal life.

I would say that GOD is a spirit and must be worshipped in spirit and in truth.The world thinks in physical ways based on sense knowledge.
GOD is pleased by faith,and this requires a spiritual mind(JESUS said"the words that i speak are spirit and they are life.)

The bible is the WORD of GOD,and the HOLY SPIRIT will line up with the WORD.

For the love of others, please look in concern for those who have also answered, just one thing highlighted of the HOLY SPIRIT the Helper and as it is written; "Without knowledge My people perish." .

Please allow others to answer further, in order to know where their foundation is laid and then work from there to build and edify them by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.

i am not allowed to respond by CHRIST, in order for some others who enjoy to watch, as a figure of speech, a wrestling and a boxing match and highlight their 'likes' as spectators.

This Bible Discussion Forum is the Kingdom of the LIVING GOD, through CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT and the inspired Holy Scriptures the Holy Bible that one who is in 'spirit' and 'truth', confesses "ABBA", "FATHER" who initially made the New Covenant with us, in our Salvation, by the blood of CHRIST, which we all partly partake as the Holy Communion.

If anyone takes them in an unworthy manner will face the consequences, in time to come.

Peace be with all of you beloved ones of CHRIST, this is not a debate or a challenge, but a reminder and a stir up of memories, regarding the especially New Covenant which is in Power and wisdom of the LIVING GOD in order for all believers to abide and come into obedient and not boasting in the gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT.

May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST bless us and help us when we boldly turn to the Throne of Grace, in all our weaknesses and find help from the Great High Priest who art in Heaven, who can sympathize on us, as it is written and are 'spirit' and 'life' for all believers.

Sin’s power and wages. “The wages sin pays is death” (Ro 6:23), and by being born in Adam’s line all men have come under “the law of sin and of death.” (Ro 8:2; 1Co 15:21, 22) Sin, with death, has “ruled as king” over mankind, enslaving them, this slavery being one into which they were sold by Adam. (Ro 5:17, 21; 6:6, 17; 7:14; Joh 8:34) These statements show that sin is viewed not only as the actual commission or omission of certain acts but also as a law or governing principle or force operating in them, namely, the inborn inclination toward wrongdoing that they inherit from Adam. Their Adamic inheritance has therefore produced ‘weakness of the flesh,’ imperfection. (Ro 6:19) Sin’s “law” continually works in their fleshly members, in effect trying to control their course, to make them its subjects, out of harmony with God.—Ro 7:15, 17, 18, 20-23; Eph 2:1-3.

John 16:8-11 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

The responsibility directed toward men is belief on Jesus

the sin of the world is not believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God died for all the sins of the world, in his new covenant the only sin that humanity will be held accountable for is the rejection of Jesus Christ, because God can not deny himself.

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would convince the world of Sin and does not necessarily mean a particular sin, but rather any and all sin. I will also say that the conviction of sin does not come because of the (apostles), or any other man (preacher) for that matter, as to convince and convict of sin is God's work based upon His word and the convincing power of the Holy Spirit of God.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

so what good are you sharing? And what then is the sin of the world?

Eternal life is a free gift dear friend as verse 23 clearly states. To progress in sanctification in order to receive eternal life sounds a lot like wages to me. Either the gift is free or it's not.
Please let me help clear this up. Since we are now born again and spiritual beings (a new creation) we no longer receive "wages for sin" which is a contrasting statement to the "free gift" referencing the person in their old unsaved condition as opposed to their new position in Christ. All sins were all laid upon our precious redeemer Jesus who already paid the full penalty for them.

1st corinthians 1:30 Here we already possess perfect positional sanctification in Christ as well as righteousness etc the moment we believed.

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God —and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

Here we have the declaration of the Christians perfection in Christ as well as his practical daily walk in Christ (progressive sanctification).

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

As a new creation we are perfectly sanctified positionaly in Christ Jesus, and as a result of the new life communicated to us we are being sanctified practically in our daily walk I.E. yielding to the Holy Spirit, studying the Bible, growing in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peace be with you dear 'overcomer2', these are question to all who call them'selves' saints like you that are we doing our duty to warn the world of ignorance, for the anointing the HOLY SPIRIT is in us to guide us to do all this duties.

i am glad you do not love the world and it's things but what about the Words of JESUS even through the Apostles in the New Covenant to all believers and in sound doctrine it goes like this;
1. "Our desire to tell the Good News and Peace should be like the shoe of amour we wear on our feet."
2. "Love your enemies and do GOD's Good through CHRIST, who brought us Grace and Truth on to them by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT."

May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST forgive you and help you change from your arrogant goat behavior to a sheep with humble and humility representation for the honor of HIS SON.
