Well thank you for your honesty and for caring about our feelings. I know how tough it is to feel like no woman is even remotely interested in you (no matter what age you are) and despite what people say, a positive attitude doesn't always help. I really tried to keep a positive attitude and convince myself that I was good looking and that I had a lot to offer and I would muster up the courage to ask a woman out and end up getting rejected anyway. I know its not that simple. :(

Thank you for agreeing with my intentions. I just thought that at the bottom of it all, no matter how Christian we are, the game of dating always plays favorites with physical attraction, and I just thought that if we are going to play that game, then we might as well aim high. Attractive girls end up with unattractive guys. The group would be there to succour a brother who skinned his knees attempting, and nurse him back to health for his next attempt. And we would encourage each other on how to keep what we had attained, since the lack of physical attraction would put them at risk for infidelity.
The mating game is worldly at its heart. There is no getting around it. You must compete. God is not going to shift the free will of the woman no matter how hard you pray. A man has to get in there and play the game.

Just because you don't look like the dude for Calvin klien or don't look like channing tatum or what ever his name is doesn't mean you are unattractive. Just because you carry a few extra pounds or more doesn't make you undesirable to a woman! I know how some of you feel , Im 5'10 and weigh 250 and pack on muscle like a dude! Everyone has bad days but guys be serious and PRAY! Dont start a group because you feel undesirable. You are all handsome in Gods eyes you were created in his image, and if a lady wants to hate, let them because they arent good enough for you! Sorry i know this a "dudes" only but the title irked me

True that.

I had to join just to take part in the discussions.

Edification of the downtrodden seems to be the kind of thing that should take place out in the open, so others might also be lifted up, or via PM. It seemed kind of silly to create a group where this can't take place out in the open. It's not offensive, or a bad example for young children, or anything to be ashamed of.
