Ken, is that you? If so, please don't be offended but I had pictured someone different based on what I've read of you on the forum, especially with your "duck talk" which I've thoroughly enjoyed btw. :)

God is good.

With a thankful heart,
Abbie Jean

I love this post - maybe the most. They're all me Abbie Jean. I'm just the guy behind the curtain.

I went to the store. I saw my favorite box of cereal. My favorite box of cereal was all the way in the back on the shelf. I could not reach my favorite box of cereal. So now my favorite box of cereal is still all the way in the back on the shelf and i'm at home typing this.....without my favorite box of cereal.
wow, you're so patient. i guess i am fortunate to be tall-ish (in this kind of scenario) but i have no shame about things like that. i'll jump, climb or do whatever it takes. i avoid the grocery store like the plague.

and when all else fails, find a tall cute guy to retrieve it for you

I love you Fenner! This is great too - "if it IS you, you know, well - then I'm sorry". :D That cracked me up (but only on the inside because I'm not smiling as you can see).

It takes me few months to finish my puzzles because I don't sit do them everyday. :) But this one now is really teasing me cuz there's too much details into it, to an extent I can't see it!! :D

I once put together a Millennium Falcon 3D puzzle & a 3D bust of Darth Vader one for my friends' son once. He'd bought them & hadn't put them together & they were still in the shrink wrap. I was like "You eeeeevvvvverrrrrrrr gonna put those darn thing's together??" It was agonizing to see them still in the box. He said: "Knock yerself out!"

I think it took me like 3 weeks to do both...the Falcon was hard. Ugh! I think next time I'll get some help if I tackle another 3D one, though I can't imagine any time in my near future I'll be putting any puzzles together.

I'm having a pretty bad day. Today is my best friend's birthday. She died on October 25th 2013. Her Facebook wall is flooded with wishes and people saying how much they miss her. I had to delete her because I couldn't bear to see it. She would have been 38 today.
So sorry for your loss. That's a tough one.

just_monicat...is your username "Just Monica T" or "Just Moni-cat?"

Because I've been saying it in my head as the latter, but I just realized...maybe it's the former...

Same here, Rachel. I've always thought, "Oh, it's Moni-cat!" whenever I see her name. XD

Never had this..but I'd so try it! And..oh my glob woman @ you "if I ever get a Valentine". lol I'm not buying yer' nonsense for one minute...I bet you get or have gotten many Valentine's in your day,and I'm sure you'll have a few CC men sending you virtual bacon after this post. :p

I 100% agree Monica. I'm only 5-9",but come hell or high water, no obstacle is going to impede my getting my hands at the last Ben & Jerry's or Klondike 6 pack...if I have to crawl inside the freezer & risk frost bite & embarassment I shall overcome!
I also detest going to the grocery store. I know this will sound elitist, but I sometimes feel as though if I am doing my grocery shopping, that no one else should be allowed in the store when I'm there,so I can have peace & not be rushed or have oblivious people leave their carts in the middle of the asile causing a traffic jam. (I will pass on having any cute men help me with my shopping needs tyvm)

That is awesome Jen...had that before. Chocolate with Wasabi is awesome to. Ohhh and one of my ex-wife's co-workers made me Bacon & Maple Syrup Muffins once for my Birthday. The had this awesome vanilla frosting spread on the top with crushed up crispy bacon on top too. Heavenly!

Actually, I've never had a good Valentine's day. The only relationship I was ever in on that fateful day was X who was "above" that holiday nonsense.
