HER INDEPENDENCE DAY ~~
Last week I was broken hearted regarding my
mothers actions and tone with me.
The pain of rejection cut like a knife and I thought
someone had ripped out my heart.
Since then, I realized many things. Her mind
was not coherent, her restlessness had a
method to its madness.

As any mother - daughter, we had our ups and
downs. Many downs, but always forgiving and
forgetting. However, not everyone forgets. Her
mind stored away things like a squirrel storing
nuts for the winter.

Due to the illness she was enduring, she was
agitated easily and it turns out she was irritable
with all the girls in the nursing facility.
I had never been privy to her actions recently.
While sitting with her 5 weeks ago, waiting for
her to die, she was docile, and I just saw a quiet
woman.

But, die she didn't, and she sprung back to life.
I knew God had a purpose for not taking her when
she was told she would die. Little did I know why.

She had always said she had accepted Christ in her
heart, but the fruits weren't always evident. Some
things she did proved this to be.

Yesterday, we get our call to come to the Nursing
facility. The time was coming. Soon.
When I walked in, she was stone cold toward me.
My heart breaking. I didn't want her to leave this
world 'hating' me.

With much prayer and scripture reading for hours,
she began to find some release and relief from her
pain.

God spoke to my spirit what was holding her back
as I watched her in the final throes of death.
She was unable to find peace or rest in her spirit.
She was struggling not to die.

I watched her face intently, and just kept praying,
singing songs of Jesus. Still no peace.

As I spoke out to the 'thing' that was holding her
back, which was a religious spirit, not a true spirit
of God, her countenance began to change.

What was it I spoke over her? What was holding her back?
These are the words He spoke through me…
You spirit of religion you loosen her. She does not pray to
Mary, she will not go to purgatory, she will go to Jesus
Christ. [ She had been foster child in Catholic family.]

Her breathing had been labored for nearly an hour.
After speaking to this 'thing' to loosen its grip on her,
I silently asked God to see her smile. I spoke to her
as she lay dying and said you will see Jesus soon,
and you are free, and you will smile. To my husbands
amazement and mine, she smiled a tiny smile a couple
of times.

After the rattling in her chest ceased, she took about
six small dainty breaths, and like a wisp of air, her last
breath left her.

Her facial countenance shown, her tired drawn lines
were now softened. She was at rest and finally at peace.

I will forever thank my Heavenly Father for being with us

to see her through the door from death into life.
His presence dropped down over her bed and I wanted

to stay there forever. What a glorious day.

J~K~2, wow thats an amazing story. It's great that you were able to free her to Jesus in her final hours. Sometimes, when people are dying, as with your mother, they struggle to hold on until whatever's plaguing them is brought to a resolution. God bless you, sis. :)

Oh, if anyone had told me what I was going to be doing that day, I would have
thought them wrong. I am an open person as you know, and my mom and I had
no secrets when it came to spiritual matters. She loved her Christian music, even
would attend Full Gospel Churches. Yet she did have a bitterness and for reasons
I won't go into now, she could love me or she could despise me. But, we kept a
working relationship as she was in a nursing facility.

I want to tell you about her experience she shared with me about 3 weeks or so
before she died. I went to be with her and she said, "those nurses were having
a party outside there." I asked, where ? She pointed to the window across from
her bedside in a corner outside the bldg. I said, "Oh I don't think they could mom."
She insisted she heard noises and loud talking.

I remembered later after she died, I told my husband who had been with me from
11:00 until 6:00 her time of death, as I commanded the spirit of religion to leave, I
was looking at that very window in her room as if to see them depart. He reminded
me of the night she claims there was a party going on outside that window.

You know what I think ? I think 'death' was coming prematurely for her, and she
really did hear demons. God was not ready for her and oh how I praise Him for
allowing me to see the transformation from her worldly body to a woman for the
first time saw beauty, and I got a glimpse of what death will be like when we pass
over to the other side.

Thank you so much for reading the blog. There is so much more to it. But it was
certainly nothing I would have ever asked for, but I sure am glad God had His own
way of seeing her freed from what held her captive. And I got to see her like a
butterfly coming out of its cocoon and fly away. ~ J~ K~ 2 P.S. You blessed me.~

Jk2, wow thats an awesome story. I believe that people close to death such as your mother, DO see spirits (or possibly demons). Its so great that you could give her that wonderful release. Aww, thank you for saying I blessed you. :) I try to bless everyone. By the way, I actually can only read/ reply to what you post here in the forums. I have'nt been invited to post inside any blogs. :( I would however, LOVE to read and post in yours. :) Take care, sis.

JK2, when I click on the "christian blogs" button, I'm able to see posts that people have put on, but I'm not able to post replies because I'm not a member of any blogs yet. I wonder if you sent me an invitation to join your blog, maybe then it would work??
