He is a bringer of war and hatred. As many false prophets and false churches have wrought, their bearings on violence and revenge speak for themselves.
Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
This is adverse psychology - even in knowing it is bad, maybe it is good for you?
Where does our Lord teach violence? He gave himself, knowing the torment he would receive. His suffering on Earth is [even] incomparable to the longsuffering of God for his children. Knowing the crucifixion of God in the flesh on the cross, as he bled for his beloved brings me to tears, and further to know his love for us that is denied is the ultimate testament to his holy nature. May he be redeemed by our love for him.

my proof is this.

The old testament can get a little shaky on technical translations, and typos are made as to where commas and correct punctuation is placed. The errors get smaller and smaller, and less important as the technicalities contained in each sentence of each verse bring little light and area for growth and learning. There is little purpose and meaningful treats that are buried within debating a translation of a word. The Growth in your Life is about the main purpose of the Holy Bible. The growth is the Jesus' life in you and with you every day! The premise of the Holy Bible, the principle traits of character of Jesus, the mind set and attitude, the change of life, understanding who you are and who God is and who we are as an organism, the realization and revelations which come from God training the mind he gave you and the Spirit that is in you, and upon you, and with you always. These are areas of life where God freely gives all positive reinforcement. these are areas of trial and temptation, radical sacrifice, and joy and perserverance because God loves you and will never say no to who you are and who you always will be. these are the things which grow, the fruit of the spirit are THESE THINGS. They grow on you, and in you, and God cuts your dead branches and you bear good fruit. The Spirit lives in you, so let it live through you and it will reach out from you and touch a grip of lives around you each day. so listen and pray in Jesus name Amen.

As for the OT, it's like anything else. For those that can hear, let them hear. You know when he is speaking to you because it shakes your soul to the core. He isn't a moment away, nor even a breath, he is with you and in you throughout your whole life. The message of his son has served to give you hope in yourself, that you are NOT of this world, and through a simple prayer for our salvation:

MY proof is this. I was an alcoholic, I meant I started drinking from the time I got out of bed until I went to bed. I couldn't ride in a car, I could go a mile or two and would have to stop and get out, Unless I was drunk. I could not eat unless I had at least a pint. I couldn't work and provide for my family. We had food stamps and Friends and family would help pay the bills.
My precious wife stood by me and prayed for me daily. Ant other women would have left in a second. I love m wife dearly. when she said for better or worse, she meant what she said. I put her through some ruff and tough times and she stood by me praying. pleading with God.
I got to the point that I was ready to die. I went to church with my wife, drunk and with blood shot eyes and I was shaking in the pew. The preacher gave the altar call and I ran to the altar. I had a pint in my pocket and I laid it on the altar and then I reached up and grab it. Then I put it back on the altar. Then I felt hands touching me and heard people praying in a strange language. Then it was like liquid love drenched all over me. I was immediately set free and I ask Jesus in my heart and He answered. That was 25 years ago.
That's my proof. I don't care what colleges teach. I don't care what science say's. God is God and there is no other. He is the almighty. He is the creator of heaven and Earth. He is deserving of our praise and all the glory. What a mighty God I serve. What science couldn't do, what psychology couldn't do, what self help couldn't do, what education couldn't do.

this is one of the reasons i tend to go very light on words when communicating with people from a different theological or cultural background. i have been in china 7 years and seen "missionaries" at work. when we were hit by the sichaun earthquake 6 years ago i saw one walking around the campus telling frightened students that they might die today (we were still feeling aftershocks) and if they did they would be tortured forever along with their parents and ancestors. while they were evangelizing i had a half dozen frightened students in my apartment. i explained tectonic plates and that we could expect smaller and smaller quakes after the big one. i didnt tell them that if they must accept a book that they had never heard of as the final authority for life and death. i did pray with them and show what it meant to try to walk with jesus. its strange but i talked with a lot of the "converts" who became "christians" from fear. none of them were a part of a christian community of faith and none of them had mentioned christianity to their families. three of the kids from my apartment are now part of christian churches. i suspect that it is much more worthwhile to show the non christian what christ has done to and for me ...... then lets go on to reading scripture. i think it was francis of assissi who said "preach the gospel at all times, when necessary, use words.
Luis, West is West and East is East and they never be the same. If you fond of peacefull buddists, why dont your try to preach them Allah of Quran??? Espessially, to them in Birma, who recently slaughered muslims.

If we ask any educated (in Islam) muslem what the Christian New Testament is (for him). He will give a common islamic answer, - for him it is lie, since disciples of Jesus perverted the true life and doctrin of Jesus. For muslems Jesus is not God and He was not crucified, and even in second appearence He is to come for breaking crosses.
Well, you openly call our Holy Book as lie, and whole our confession as falsefull. So, knowing that, why you are upsed when we treat in the same way your religion???
For as Allah will never be a God of Abraham, Isaac and Jocob, as well as for muslims our Jesus never could be Son of God.

Do not think I have only virtual contacts with muslims. Whole my life, and now I live near them. And I saw different of them in different regions: Arabs of Aravia, Arabs of North Africa, middle Asians, Turks, Caucasians (of Caucasus mountants), Bosnians (of former Yugoslavia). And now I work togerther with them. And knowing well difference (beetwen our faiths) I never preach them my religious views. Only if they (muslims) themselves ask me, I explain them what Christianity is and what we believe.

would love to see this.
1. Islam denys redemption by blood. They even with hold the redemptive passages concerning the law of moses and other things when they speak of OT things.
2. No other religion speaks of God sending his son, they speak of our sacrifice, to appease a wrathful God. Not his own sacrifice.
