You can post them all you want. No one is denying it can not be interpreted as regular grape juice. that is not the argument here my friend.

Your not proving anything, In fact this is the ONLY proof you have to offer it MAY be just grape juice.

your problem is ALL THE other proofs which show it WAS NOT just grape juice.
Mountains of evidence....I guess they are tossing the (evi) out of evidense

Hey, if you want to take down go ahead. Drink your wine and whatever, that's your choice. As I have sais you can drive down the road with your feet, but that don't mean it is a good Idea. If it bakes your biscuit the tie it on. If you need a glass of wine to go to sleep. Then you are stressed and say the cross is not sufficient. I need this alcohol. It's a circle that you can'y get out of. In fact you are bound. Put it away for three weeks if you can and see the bondage.
Continue to prove all you want to do is argue.

I ALREADY SAID I DO NOT DRINK, BUT MAYBE A FEW TIMES A YEAR AND THEN JUST A BOTTLE..

Do you even know everytime you make a false accusation against someone, YOU PROVE YOU ARE NOT LISTENING??

Your hard hearted. Continue to spew hate and falsities about people. The whole world just sees the truth in your heart.

............................it says right there in the scripture that they came for the Lord's Supper but it was being done irreverently. They were bringing their regular suppers and alcohol wine to the Lord's Supper .................
I am amazed that so many of you have different bibles than I do. Mine doesn't saying anything about anybody drinking alcohol wine.

You know, today all things are permissible, just not all things are beneficial. We each get to decide and for me I have been dry for 29 years now and am thankful to God for this deliverance for me it was not beneficial, where as for you or anyone else it might be, you decide and you and you
'

I agree and good for you and 29 years....It comes down to what you posted to concerning....

It comes down to the following..

1. Does it cause a weaker brother/sister to stumble or be offended Corinthians
2. Not to be drunk in excess Ephesians
3. Not to be (given) to it as in addicted or have to have it 1st Timothy
4. Being mature about it

Appreciate the response bro!

Stephen,

can you get drunk with grape juice?
If they say no it blows their whole point and if they say yes they look like fools hahhahaha too funny...just think all they have to do is acknowledge the simple truths of the OP and bingo everything falls into place and scripture jives!

so your problem is accepting what the word of God says.

ok thanks. thats all we needed to know.
No doubt......imagine how stupid the Pharisees looked when they called Jesus a (grape juice bibber) or (grape juicy juice drinker) or to think for one second he was getting drunk on either wine or juicy juice...

Romans 14:13-19

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]13 [/SUP]Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. [SUP]15 [/SUP]But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Let not then your good be evil spoken of: [SUP]17 [/SUP]for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Would this go deeper than just food, since that was the subject at the time food was the problem. you think if drinking was the problem you think the same words would be used?
Doesn't change the valid simple truths of the OP...

You're adding words to the scripture. He never said it was grape juice. Nothing anywhere in the scripture says it was grape juice. A simple word study shows that it was not a mistaken translation. Archeologists have found vessels from the first century that are clearly labelled "inferior wine." Wine was drunk freely, and Messiah drank wine. He says he will not drink again until he returns. You cannot change the words that are there to suit your own beliefs. You don't have to drink, but you are adding to the scripture with your own opinions.

Hey MrsRoseTreasure, hope all is well this evening. I believe from what's being said that since Jesus didn't drink and we are to follow in his footsteps, being Christ like, we to are not suppose to drink either. All of these reasons for using alcohol then are null and void due to the fact that the medication that we have now being far superior, that Jesus would expect us to use what he has given man talent to produce. You cannot say for certain what Jesus made was alcoholic, but the odds are that he made it non alcoholic because it's not something he condones, and for him to make fermented wine would be contrary to his nature of being sinless, pure, never putting his creation in harms way.

Wine is an alcoholic beverage. Does your bible say "alcoholic wine"?
That is redundant, like "frozen tundra".
the word translated wine can be either though..

Yes, Paul's word is inferior, and Paul was inferior in every possible way when held up to the ruler that is Messiah. Everyone else in scripture was inferior to Messiah. I am going to listen to Messiah first every single time because every single human is inferior to the son of the Most High, the King at whose throne I wil bow and whose feet I would love to wash with my hair. As I said, follow whoever you want. I will be following the one Paul followed. That means that EVERY WORD out of his mouth is the most important thing I can learn, and anyone who says anything contrary to that word is wrong. Paul had a lot of great advice, but I don't worship Paul.

Yes, drunkenness starts with the first drink, and gluttony starts with the first bite, so we shouldn't eat? By the way, as for your idea that Paul's word is inferior to that of Jesus, lets remember who Paul got his information from. " But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Gal 1:11-12) If you don't true Paul to tell you what Jesus told him, you can't trust Matthew or the other gospel writers to record what he told them either.
