This scripture is also great as well!

Isaiah 54:17
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.

Oh that explains a lot! Praying for a husband's salvation can be a hefty spiritual battle. You mentioned rebellion.

1 Samuel 15:23
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft..."

i think this verse can help explain a lot why you feel so attacked when praying for him. Rebellion is not something that wants to ever leave very easily, especially in someone that it has legal right to be in, because he is not saved.

Definately pray together with your mother or anyone else you feel is truly close to God. This is a big fight, so do not be surprised when you get attacked. However, be mindful of these attacks and see them for what they are and quickly rebuke them. God is training you to fight for the salvation of your husband.

Is it normal to question your religion when your saved? Last night I was reading and someone was talking about the "enemy " I couldn't help but kinda laugh..I do Beleive in satin and demonic beings but for some reason I'm starting to think the idea is completely ludacris.. And it's worse today.. I don't know what's goin on with me...and I'm having mean and negative revengeful thoughts about my husband ... It's weird..
I suggest you check on some real facts regarding demons. We are in the last days, and we are told that demons are part of these days, so learning about the enemy seems a good idea to me. There are lots of weird untruthful ideas about them, it is important to check on the people reporting.

Of course the bible comes first, and especially the gospels talks about them quite a little.

Deeply Christian men who work with demon possessed people are another source. Demon possession has increased by an estimated 70% in the last 50 years, so even that source is filled with misinformation. I felt that M Scott Peck was quite reliable. He is a psychiatrist and author. His friend was Malachi Martin who wrote Hostage to the Devil, about exorcism with information about the demons the exorcists came in contact with. It seemed factual.

From the little I have learned, demons try to influence all of us, but very, very few people are possessed by them. This would only be to learn of how they try to influence us and what they are about.

Well.. What's confusing is that two nights ago, I was praying through out the house and over my husbands stuff and where he sleeps...covering it with the blood of jesus ...and then this happens.. I was thinking way out of character. I felt depressed, thoughts of wanting to die..I was angry..I forgave my husband of an incident that happened months ago and all of a sudden that resurfaced...this is the second time this happened except last time it was my husband that changed..my mom came and prayed in the spirit and annoyed the house with oil ...after that my husband took a turn for the worst. He changed...

do keep praying, but don't put your trust in objects. There are few instances in the bible that speak of healing wihtout it coming directly from a person.

in addition to prayers, you might want to talk to a professional, it could be something psychological as well. Change in personality can have many causes

Jruiz, you are wise to believe in Satan and demonic beings, because they DO exist!! The bible tells us they exist. When a person is saved, they should'nt have to question whether their religion is true or real or not. They should have a feeling of absolute assurance that its true. If you are questioning your religion, then you need to spend alot more time praying and asking God to show you that your religion is real. Read your bible alot more. If you are having mean, spiteful negative thoughts about your husband, ask yourself why you feel this way and what happened to make you feel like this.
Whatever you do, dont EVER think that Satan and his demons dont exist!! That is exactly what they want you to think. God tells us to be ever vigilant and watch for his coming. We also need to be ever vigilant and watch for the devil coming, also.
