Have you ever had someone - known or complete stranger - do something so random or quirky or cute that you were completely charmed? What was it?

Alright I'll say it, quirky is attractive to me.

Shyness and stumbling over words is quirky to me. I find it cute. It's the too smooth guys I don't care much for. I once had a guy trick me into giving my number to him. He was that slick. That smoothness doesn't work for me...

I guess you could say that I find a reserved/mysterious personality very attractive, but at the same time they ask really amazing thought provoking questions and are secretly very hilarious. Hilarity is the best trait I'd have to say.

When I had just turned 18 years of age and was doing my Diploma through TAFE (college), I awkwardly ran in to some French musician in some random situation. He spontaneously decided to take me to the back of the campus where some vegetable gardens were growing and we ballroom danced on the wooden edging (like wooden seatings) around the gardens.

I've always been partial to women who wear their pajama pants out in public. Why I have no idea but I always pay extra attention to them. lol.

a few years ago i dated a guy who would text me haikus all the time. but instead of saying, "Hey, why don't you come over for dinner at 6" he'd send me something like this:

when the clock strikes six

with an appetite you'll come

and dinner will be served.

i don't know if he knew (or i told him) that i love haikus, but he constantly sent them. it was incredibly endearing.

it was wonderfully weird.

but i'm weird, so naturally i loved it.

ha ha, That's almost Yoda Speak. It needs a few changes though.

"When six the clock strikes
with an appetite you will come
And served, dinner will be"

I love these stories! I finally thought of one for myself. It would be the last date I went on, in December. He brought a jigsaw puzzle with him. After we had lunch, he took me to a park and we sat at a picnic table out by the water and did our puzzle together. It was the most random, quirky thing I've ever done with anyone, and it was charming.

I dated a guy in college, he was half French n' my French is very poor. But one day I walked into the classroom n' I found this written on the board:

J'aim deux choses, Toi et la Rose, La Rose pour an jour et toi pour toujours. Translation is: I love 2 things, you and a rose. A rose for one day and you forever. Now THAT was SO charming!! I've never forgotten this!! :)

Another one was my ex-boyfriend, one day he surprised me with an organized wine tasting tour n' lunch in a fancy shmanzy restaurant, followed by an English tea n' desert in a home style place. He took care of all the details and I just needed to show up. I thought that was also VERY charming!! :)

That's so cute, maybe because I love puzzles. It gives you this feeling of peace.

The man who asked me to smell his hair on the elevator was very quirkly. I didn't know whether to laugh or be a little creeped out.

Then again, the guy whose shirt I sniffed in the cologne department at the mall probably thought the same about me, so...

Jennifer Lawrence and Zoey Dechannel make an entire career off of being quirky and lovable.

I don't know specifics but I love quirky women. I'm a bit of an oddball myself (but not a woman).

I randomly hiccup throughout the day and I think it's annoying/that I'm being annoying, but a guy I used to like would randomly hiccup throughout the day as well and I thought it was adorable.

I like the random text messages that feel like you just pick back up the conversation from days ago... not the stiff hello, how are you today... but more like "so how do you feel about gummy bears? "
