I suppose it depends on the person. Some people really try hard to make jokes and it just doesn't work well while other people come off as too mysterious. Personally, someone who is jolly and easy-going because it makes getting to know them easier. If someone is constantly mysterious, it's hard to get to know them.
in my experience, many of the "mysterious" folks i've met are simply easy going people who are introverts that aren't as easy to get to know.
but often, those people are well worth the trouble to get to know. i tend to be drawn to easy-going folks, rather than high-strung personalities.
