See how the next verses imply a woman arrayed in scarlet in very negative connotations? Lol hmm, kinda reminds me of a chapter of Revelations lol. Like I said though I take a more eschatological view of this Prophecy, looking at this chapter of the writings of Jeremiah as a whole. Lol hence why I was saying perhaps this be better for another bible discussion topic since I don't see this chapter as being about the beginning of the world, but rather the end stages of it.

Lol even with just your three verses clearly it is not set during the beginning and is a prophecy. Where did those cities thereof becoming desolate come from? Reading earlier into the chapter woul make me assume somewhere around the Levant region..

Oh eschatology is merely a study of End Times.

This prophecy by Jeremiah fits with the eschatological theme of Revelations (and also visions of greats wars and hardships from Isaiah and Daniel which are famous and covered more thoroughly in many other topics on this site.) I believe it shall come to pass in the future very near to the end of time according to the collection of books in the Bible. If that helps clarify it for you.

Does the cross fit in with that. I meant with Hermeneutics and eschatology . how does that pertain to a single mother.

Absolutely the cross fits into that. For God shall create the new creation and Jesus proved on the cross and off of it that he is the Christ and that God can forgive and save anyone forever and wipe away the tears of all time.

EDIT: Not sure what Hermeneutics means though, never heard of the term. It fits eschatology though of the Bible.

Church Law? Are these Churches which makes laws unto themselves or churches which obey God's Law would be my answer for I am not an attender of the churches of stone in the 21st Century AD.

Only if God blessed those aliens with some sort of unearthly technology to do such things.

Well in the fifties no one thought of such things. Matter of fact churches taught not to were pants for women, They had know Idea of transvestites.I wish I had know idea.
