Sorry Bookends! Most Dispensationalist would never have a debate with Gary Demar;
much less have a conversation about eschatology after hearing it!
Haven't you heard them cry and whimper and get angered to a point of hatred,
when ever they are challenged on the subject?!
Always having to find the high ground, so they can condescend toward us!
They don't have a collective original thought in the theology of Dispensational Eschatology.
It has all been laid out for them by the satanic prophetic deceivers,
of their Dispensational christian cults!

Hate to say this bro. But I have had some extreme hatred shown my way in my many years. And even quite a few on here for my view of dispensationalism. So this goes both ways.
And I must wonder why people have to use these attack tactics to try to get their point across. or even prove they are right. do you think this even ads to the conversation?

hey bud do you have this in writting somewhere? or at least the main points. I will not have a few hours available to listen to everything the guy says and test it with the word of God for awhile. I do not want to think I am just ignoring it.
Show me who EG, give me an example, past post, etc., so I can rebuke them! (besides the one in this post by ProphetExcalibur)

No I don't EG, but you could take it piece by piece when you have the time and not all one chunk (just remember where you left off).
BTW. I don't 100% agree with Dr Gary Demar, I'm not a 100% Dominionist, I believe Christians will go through pockets of persecution until the return of Christ. Demar predicts the majority of the world will become Christianized. That said, I do feel Gary Demar is right in that most depensationalist focus on Israel and a little piece of land rather then standing up for and spreading the gospel to all nations.

ps.. WHo are the MOST of the dispensationalists who focus on one nation and a small peace of land, and not the gospel and evangelizing the world.
MOST dispensations realise when we see the signs of things which are fortold. we have to evangelize like we never have before. Because the time is running short. They also realise one of the signs, is that the gospel will be spread to all nations, tribes, and tongues before these things can occur. So their focus is on the world and the lost. Not Israel.
The only reason most people even speak of Isreal is because it is what differentiates our belief system.

I approach all this through a process of elimination. So when I see that post mils are striking out on the wrong foot, it's hard to swallow anything eschatological further from them...

I listened to the video and mainly what he said regarding dispentionalists was that there is no mention of a gap between the 69th and 70th year of Daniel. That there is no mention of a distinction between the Israel and the church. That most have to force text of scripture to fit their eschatological system.
He also said: "What you feel about the future affects what you do today. He said something about prophetic scripture - how some say to "just leave it out" and "not study it at all". He then spoke about "Newspaper exegesis" - reading the Bible through the newspaper - that headlines are driving people's interpretation - I have seen that myself. He mainly said that the future doesn't matter to dispensationalist because they just sit around looking for the rapture or the next event in the middle east. While I agree that I have seen evidence of this - it's wrong to lump all dispensationalist into these groups.

i made this observation before...but i have noticed that a lot of the people who think dominionism and its offshoots are seriously false doctrine -also- regard dispensationalism as something like the ultimate deception...and due to their extreme dislike of dispensationalism those people tend to take the opposite extreme and embrace preterism...
they fail to realize that historically postmillennialism and dominionism have been viewed as the logical consequences of preterism...

I don't understand the hate for dispensationism. I have read some of what it is and teaches and it seems biblical to me. Is it the people that believe in covenant theology that have the problem? Not agree is one thing, saying people are for satan is another.
Paul was talking to Timothy about the times in his day, of coarse times haven't changed much

For one it teaches that God can't deal with the Jews and Christians at the same time. It teaches that God has to rapture out the church in order to save Israel. As I see/read it, natural Jews and gentiles are brought into the family of God the same way, through Christ.
