Matthew 6.2. Many people never receive Gods best for them because they are addicted to the approval of others. Even if they know Gods will for them, they will not walk in it because they are afraid there friends may not understand or agree.

that is some crazy paraphrase Bible you are reading!
but i think Matthew 6:1 sums up the next verse well, and it sure is a good one:
Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
(Matthew 6:1)
there is more here than just not patterning our life by not seeking any person's approval! all that is important is God's approval.
verse 4 further illuminates the concept:
so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Christ goes on to give the same instruction for prayer:
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
(Matthew 6:6)
this has always been dear to me, and i tell you, it is wonderful. many times i have prayed without letting any person know what i prayed for, nor put in 'prayer requests' but trusted in Christ's instruction here - and seen God answer it with power!
the power of prayer isn't in the number of saints we get on the bandwagon; it's in the Lord that we pray to. i tell you, what you pray for in His will, in faith, it is not ignored!

Watch out that could be misleading, as to one has to of their flesh be perfect and
God will reward me if I can do it, when that is the way of this world and not God

truth for it is ones motive behind what one does that is judged more so than what one does
Many say they believe, yet that does not mean they do, For at Judgment God's not mine or yours all will be reveled righteously as to whoever is rejected or not no excuses will be valid not one on that day
