How many people in here are Christian gothics?
I am curious to know since I do not think I am the only one in here that is that way!

For those of you that think all gothics are evil and do works of the devil that is not the case it's mostly a look of people who had a roughlife in the past and tend to show there pain and suffering through how they act and dress. Doesn't mean they don't love God or do crazy stuff
Some do but not all of us!

Goth style can mean all sorts of things, from black lipstick and mascara, black clothes and nail polish, extra piercings, and so forth.

Tribal-style tattoos are often black; often referred to a tribal rather than Goth, anyway. I guess you started with ears for the piercings.

Yes my ears and my eyebrow I plan on getting industrial bars in my ears as well. I don't do tribal tattoos I'll have to post a couple of tattoos tho they resemble death and people that have passed on in my life. I have one that says it all for me "you threw me far from GRaCE, now I fall onto it" that is the words but the tattoo itself is not xomplete

Faith based life and attire are so important.

But do you think this should be restricted to only single ear piercings, no tattoos, etc.?

You must understand the difference between black Gothic and black tribal better than I do, then! :)

So you did ears and eyebrow so far.

Rather a difference context, in reverent appreciation of which the believer may for instance look back to Isaiah 53 and think of His sin atoning death and sufferings.

I think personally it's up to the person. I have prayed over what I do as for me my peiercings and tattoos all tell a story of past present and future. People should pray over anything that modifies the body. Some dis agree but I am who I am judge me not!

I am reading some parts of Isaiah right now my main focus Is Daniel! God led me to read Daniel. Black tribal can be gothic but a majority of it is not. True gothic Christian or not, have tattoos of stories on them. As mine are 99% of my tattoos have true meaning behind them.

I have been called everying under the sun, since God stepped into my life it doesn't bother me as much, and I hide who I am less.

My wife and I like to combine - at different times - reading in the Old Testament with reading in the New Testament. It's all so profitable and it benefits from being balanced with both Old and New Testament also.

Sounds like you have become knowledgeable about Gothic and/or tribal tattoos over several years. You must have a good parlor near you.

A lot has to do with appearances to, not just thinking devil worship. Which i know is not true in all cases. There are some out there that think that if you are clean and proper than you are not a true child of God. Jesus says not discriminate or judge some one by outer appearances, but by where their heart is.

I guess you and your wife are not into Christian gothic/ tattoos/piercings?

Seems to me that as a style or as a whole series of style variations it's quite subjective often, and in some cases rather mild also.

I know a lot of Christian Goths. They are no different than anyone else.
I use to be called a "Goth" because of how I dressed. Growing up I hated pretty/bright colors. I was to "boyish" to like them lol.
Plus I was a skater, I liked BMX and I rode dirtbikes. So bright colors just wasn't my thing.
Now I get called a country girl. Ha it's funny how people try so hard to label others.
