The Law is not one of the Ten Commandments?

The Ten and the 603 all comprise the Law.

It cannot be split apart; it is a comprehensive, integral, intertwined unit.

Circumcision and animal sacrifice is as much of the Law as 'Do not murder.'

If you're going to keep the Law, you must keep it all.

I know families who have had the husband/father and older male children circumcised to be in obedience to the Law.

They also keep a young lamb or kid in their home for the days before they slaughter it for the Passover meal. They are careful to not call it a 'sacrifice', however, as they know how that jars folks scrutinizing their religion.

It's all or nothing, folks.

The really sad thing is that when they fail at keeping whatever part of the Law, they have no priesthood to represent them in the Old Covenant under which they've chosen to live. They cannot be blameless or declared righteous, even temporarily.

In reality, all of their Law-keeping is doing nothing for them but condemning them.

'Keeping' a watered down version doesn't cut it when it comes to righteousness.

Keep it all, or you keep none of it.

11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?

12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also.

This is where doctrines get twisted jig but granted if you obey the ten commandment with out actual realizing it your probably not breaking many laws too and i think that's what most people should do read all the Leviticus laws and tie them in with the ten commandments to see if you can match them up,

And now where where starting to twist the word of God you do realize this why do people post all the levitcul laws to argue you ok not to keep the commandments,

and just for the record i do realize people can accidentally break them but as a one of God children you are suppose to try and not break them you are suppose to follow them

i believe talking against the law is bad, i don't believe we should be giving the people that talk against the law an opportunity to do so. Its seems like staring threads that will do that, is giving people fuel to make their fire bigger. its my hope that all come to repentance, and i don't want to be the cause of some one putting their foot in mouth. may the Almighty LORD be with you all on your journey, in Christ Jesus name i ask.

If all professing Christians (emphasize professing) had the understanding that the Law given to Moses was applied physically during the Old Covenant, they would also understand, by the Holy Spirit, that through Christ there is for sure a change, but that change is NOT the Word of God, the law being a substantial part. Man shall live by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of God, and that's in the law Jesus recited to Satan. That's the way to live. I mean really live. God doesn't want anyone to perish, and all to come to the knowledge of he truth, even though there are many who will not. It's all or nothing.

Some professing Christians (emphasize professing) say that because the Priesthood changed from Levi to Judah, that means Jesus could rearrange anything He wanted, thereby going against His own Father's will of the Old Testament. The Old Testament was in effect until Jesus died. Therefore, all of what Jesus teaches us in the "Gospels" until His death is Old Testament. Jesus came to change us, NOT the law! He has given us the Spirit from God to recognize that the plan of salvation must include every word that has ever proceeded out of the mouth of God, including all the words He spoke to Moses and the Prophets.

Bottom line.
If professing Christians (emphasize professing) would stop finding fault with the law given to Moses, and endeavored to see it as Paul saw its spiritual relevance, then there would be no more bogus questions within the ranks of the church, desperately trying to change God's words according to the way flesh wants them to be. The carnal mind addresses only the physical aspects of the law that are not possible to keep in the flesh, therefore rendering it useless, and God's Word useless.

Why was Paul arrested? Answer.
He taught the law and the prophets correctly to prove Jesus as the true Messiah, and the divine plan of salvation before the world existed. The process of events are still applicable today, not only for the unbeliever, but for the believer, otherwise there would be no substance (faith Hebrews 11:1) given to us so we could die daily as Paul, or to pick up our cross daily and follow Christ. Some say "now that we have faith there is no reason for a schoolmaster anymore." A rhetorical question arises in my mind. Are you capable of finding your own way now because you are free to take a different route because, in your mind, faith certainly cannot be associated with the law?

To all who read this I emphatically suggest contemplating these following scripture references. If you cannot get it, remember that talking against the law is dangerous.

You are right, you cant obey some of the Mosaic laws and not be condemned by the rest (after all the law's purpose is condemnation on sinners). If I say "I like x,y and z of the 10 commandments" but think the rest to be wrong, I will be condemned by those laws I chose to ignore. I agree with you that the law is a unit, not parts. This is why Paul said:

Paul is saying, in effect, that if you obey a single law with in the Mosaic laws, all the rest will condemn you. You can't say to God on judgement day "Look God, I kept a perfect kosher diet and kept the Sabbath. Aren't you proud of me?" But God will say, "Depart from me, for I never knew you", because you did not obey it all.

The word “law” occurs 223 times in the New Testament of the King James Version. The word “ordinances,” which means law occurs seven times. So lets just take that for a moment. The law was the foundation by which order was made to restore order to a disobedient people. Moses went and had time with God who gave him the basic law. Now the basic law also had over 613 laws to govern the people. Let us establish that point.
These laws were then broken down into sub catogories to make them easier to understand for the keepers of the law.There were four grouping of law which are
1. The Ten Commandments

2. The religious ceremonial laws

3. The health laws

4. The civil laws
One of the major problems with the words “law,” “ordinances,” and “covenant” in the New Testament is that it is often not clear which “law” or “covenant” is being discussed. But in each case God has given us a way to know which law or covenant is meant. Lets look at somethin for a moment.

not worried, i love talking about the Almighty and His Word. Love sharing what the Lord has done in my life, and i believe the blessings come with being obedient to the things the LORD commanded in His Word. it just makes me cringe when i see people speaking against the Word, and saying its not for us, or when they start speaking against it, because i know better because its been proven in my life. This madness against the law is getting fierce, satan really hates it when people want to do what the Word says. satan said to eve, did God say, and convinced her to eat the forbidden fruit. “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
[SUP]9 [/SUP]not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and write them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
and I will remember their sins no more.”

[SUP]13 [/SUP]In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
