here it is again and may it be a witness against you.

3 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

your claims to keeping the law means you shall live in them. along with the curse.
And as a point of interest, Jesus was obedient to the Law.

Isn't it amazing how much anger God's Law arouses in some?
not the law, son. false teachers (you) are another matter.

Galatians 2
21 I don’t turn my back on God’s undeserved kindness. If we can be acceptable to God by obeying the Law, it was useless for Christ to die.

that's the sand you're on.

Relying on obedience to the law for blessings? No.
Relying on God for His blessing? Absolutely.
Does He bless me for walking in obedience to His instructions in the Law, the OT and the NT? Yep.
Does He bless me even though I'm completely undeserving of His love and blessing? Yep.
This is why the adversary has tricked people into thinking God's laws are abolished, and some new era of enlightenment is above the law of God, and that "thinking" about God is better than "doing" what God said.

The devil knows that the more truth you obey, the more truth you will be given, and more power and grace from God to walk with Him.

Galatians 3
15 To give a human example, brothers:[f] even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified. 16 Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ. 17 This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. 18 For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary. 20 Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one.

21 Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law. 22 But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

which is it? which covenant are you teaching?

God's Word itself testifies against you. not even the circumcision to whom it was given obeys the law.

Messiah warns that many will come in His name teaching a false gospel. He was talking about people like you.

Grace is not a license to sin.

Galatians 3

which is it? which covenant are you teaching?
I teach all of the Biblical Covenants.
Adamic
Noadic
Abrahamic
Mosaic
Davidic
New

All have meaning. Only 1 has the power to save. I'll let you guess which one I think it is.

Jesus was circumcised.

Just sayin'.
he also became a curse for those who have faith, not for those who continue to rely on works of the law, making his death useless. did paul continue to teach circumcision (the sign of the old covenant)? no. he didn't. but you do.

wrong answer. you're teaching people to rely on works of ceremonial law under a covenant with a curse.

In the secular world school system, one is rewarded by moving up grades which does not seem to make life easier in the short term but it does in the long run. But I am talking about old times.

nah. that would be you if you're teaching mosaic law. show the passages that say you can keep parts of mosaic law you like (the parts you love to talk about and show how religious you are).

Grace is not a license to sin.
did you learn that today?

the law is about two things. you don't keep it and are without hope.
and Christ did, and how dare you nullify what he did.

You're using that word again, "rely", which no one else here is using, or believes in.

(And yes, both of my sons have been circumcised, one of the 8th day, and one later (medical issues).
Did I do it as a sign of my reliance on the Old Covenant to be saved? No.
Did I do it from a desire to be obedient to God's instruction? Yes.
Did I do it because it's healthy? Yes.)

"Relying" on it for what?

And as an aside, I didn't know you were familiar with my church and the things that I teach there, and in my life.
Do you live in Colorado, too?:p

Perhaps you can show us how to reconcile other writings of Paul to what you posted...

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

1Co 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

OK, folks. I'm off to help someone move. I hope it doesn't get percieved that I'm relying on my work to earn my salvation, and to show that I'm still under a curse.;)

Thanks for the dialogue, Vaud. It's been fun! Seriously.

See you all later!

So do those who are given access to the Tree of Life...

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
