Is sad that Chinese government has a modern history of cracking down on Christians. However look on the bright side, at least they are allowing some Christian protest which is fairly unprecedented. This also shows that Christianity is growing in China too. The issue here I think is CCP fearing losing national control of China and the country descending into chaos as history shows has happen to China many many times. The CCP government's biggest fear is chaos, and rightly so. Ironically Christianity is one of the biggest contributors to country stabilization and could help China a lot. The real challenge here with modern Chinese government is getting the CCP to realize this. I think CCP should relax on Christianity, whenever Christianity has flourished in its borders so has China.

There are more Christians in China, than there are Australian citizens in Australia.

When the British were pushing hard drugs on their society, and they had a massive drug addict problem, they went to war, and it ended with the agreement for the British to Control the Hong Kong area for 100 years. (Remember in 1997 when it was handed back?)

In terms of Piers Morgan and his anti-gun, big government agenda I think we can relate. There was a petition written up and signed by some tens of thousands of Americans to deport the guy. Only 25,000 signatures are required for the American government to review any petition.
But I don't even think Christianity has anything against Communism per se if it weren't so godless. The very first Christians shared their belongings in a communal fashion.
I don't think I'm prepared to be that one in heart and mind, but you show this to Communist officials in China and it'd probably give them reason to pause.
If it was godless only, fine. It's repressiveness is the direct problem...which stems from it's godlessness.
