I am looking for scripture that shows Jerusalem is THE PLACE God placed His name and we must go there today.
God wants us to use reason. All nations can't go to Jerusalem for the Feasts. That's where spirit and truth come in handy.
They can't??? Then how do you exlain this passage of Scripture:
Zechariah 14:16-19
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Well that is just it John.
For those who like to pretend that they are keeping the Sabbath and the Jewish Feasts, when they are really not. Should be asking themselves where is the temple and the Levites?
Here is the answer: Right now there is no temple in Jerusalem. Therefore there the Levitical Priesthood is also not around today.
But there will be in the time of Jacob's trouble. The Temple Institute is already working on it.
In order for one to correctly keep the Jewish Feasts:
A) He must be in Jerusalem
B) There must be a Temple
C) There would have to also be a Levite Priest.

We can worship anywhere today. We can worship at home. We can worship in the Park, in the woods, forest, in an underground bunker, as long as we are worshipping God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Also, Paul the apostle to the Gentiles never says that Christians have to keep the Jewish Feasts. Why? Because he knows we would not be able to keep them.
Bottomline: If you are not keeping the Jewish Feasts the way the LORD commanded in the Old Testament, then you are not keeping them. Period.
Remember Deuteronomy says they are to present themselves before the Lord. Where was the Lord's presence?
8 Then King Solomon summoned into his presence at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David. 2 All the Israelites came together to King Solomon at the time of the festival in the month of Ethanim, the seventh month.
3 When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the priests took up the ark, 4 and they brought up the ark of the Lord and the tent of meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The priests and Levitescarried them up, 5 and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.
6 The priests then brought the ark of the Lord’s covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim. 7 The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and overshadowed the ark and its carrying poles. 8 These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the Holy Place in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today. 9 There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.
10 When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord. 11 And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple.
12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud; 13 I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.”
14 While the whole assembly of Israel was standing there, the king turned around and blessedthem. 15 Then he said:
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his own hand has fulfilled what he promised with his own mouth to my father David. For he said, 16 ‘Since the day I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built so that my Name might be there, but I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.’
17 “My father David had it in his heart to build a temple for the Name of the Lord, the God of Israel. 18 But the Lord said to my father David, ‘You did well to have it in your heart to build a temple for my Name. 19 Nevertheless, you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, your own flesh and blood—he is the one who will build the temple for my Name.’
20 “The Lord has kept the promise he made: I have succeeded David my father and now I sit on the throne of Israel, just as the Lord promised, and I have built the temple for the Name of theLord, the God of Israel. 21 I have provided a place there for the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord that he made with our ancestors when he brought them out of Egypt.”
1 Kings 9
When Solomon had finished building the temple of the Lordand the royal palace, and had achieved all he had desired to do, 2 the Lord appeared to him a second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon. 3 The Lord said to him:
“I have heard the prayer and plea you have made before me; I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting my Name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
2 Chronicles 7
11 The Lord’s temple and Solomon’s palace were now finished. In fact, everything Solomon had planned to do was completed.
12 Some time later, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream and said:
I heard your prayer, and I have chosen this temple as the place where sacrifices will be offered to me.
The Lord's glory and presence was "at the temple" and they were present themselves three times a year before the Lord.
That's why they went to Jerusalem and NOT SOMEWHERE ELSE because the temple was AT JERUSALEM.
It isn't an isolated scripture verse, it is an understanding about scripture pointing to a spiritual truth and scripture pointing to a physical truth. Scripture used the physical place of Jerusalem to point to spiritual truths, and we can only truly understand when we don't discount either.
That is behind all understanding of the bible. If we say the bible is only spiritual, physical doesn't count we get into gnostic thinking and that is considered wrong thinking. If we discount the physical, it gets into such as "faith without works is dead". We are ordered to honor the feasts as a physical expression of the spiritual. We are to honor them both ways.
Paul spoke the words God gave him, Paul had a mission to explain Christ to us so we may find him apart from using the rituals that had been used before to lead to Christ. But we are to follow God, not only Paul. Paul, according to scripture was difficult to understand, and many today are insisting Paul taught against, even, some of the things other scripture teaches. That is a misunderstanding of Paul, for Paul never ever spoke words contrary to the words of God. So we must be very careful to check our understanding of Paul with all of God's words, and know Paul never once thought of being a lone teacher, without any other scriptures.
Would you tell Christ that same statement?
Luk 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
Luk 22:16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
Luk 22:17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
Luk 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
Luk 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Luk 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Here we see Jesus Christ Himself keeping the Passover with the New Testament symbols. So, by your reasoning, Christ was not keeping the Passover correctly?
That is a very bold statement.
Here we find Paul keeping the New Testament Feast of Unleavened Bread and instructing a Gentile church in Corinth...
1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Would you be so bold as to tell Paul he is keeping the Feast incorrectly?
of course he kept it. he was born under the law to redeem those under the law.
after he suffered he became Christ our Passover sacrificed for us, when it was fulfilled in the Kingdom of God. the type (ordinance) was made obsolete when he became our passover.
and how is it he would be observing the passover with "new testament" symbols? the bread and wine are the receiving of the new covenant peace (offering) from God, as the broken bread is his body.

And you are "FORCING" that verse to say that they have to go to Jerusalem, even though it doesn't say "Jerusalem", and even though Jerusalem didn't exist yet.
Acts 7:48-49
"However,the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands; as the prophet says:

And earth is the footstool of My feet;
What kind of house will you build for Me?’ says the Lord,
‘Or what place is there for My repose?"

"The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands"
John 2:13,19-21
"The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem....Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” 21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body."
(Ironically enough, He said this at Passover)
Seems to me that the temple, the place where God chooses to place His name, is in Jesus, not JUST Jerusalem.

They understand by the time Jesus was born that Jerusalem was the place that God choose. That is why they WENT to Jerusalem for the festivals. When God spoke to Moses it was FUTURE to Moses NOT to the Jews in Jesus day to them it was in the past as to where they were to go.
Would you mind rephrasing your post. You have a lot of different tenses in there and some missing punctuation that make it hard to understand.

I never could figure out why it is that anyone who is into distorting the word of God does it by poring out judgments, not on what others read in scripture, but on other people. We are warned against this in the Lord's Prayer.
They seem to think that because scripture warns against false prophets, etc. they have the same right to do it as God does.

They are the LORDS Feasts, and they are appointments. We have inherited lies from our forefathers, who thought Christians have replaced Israel. I am so happy to find out that is completely the lie of my lifetime. We are grafted in, better get on board. You can't watch like Messiah told us to do unless you know what time it is. Don't be a foolish virgin.
