Might I suggest you try serving God 24/7? I can communicate with my God any minute of any day I need to or want to. I don't have to wait 'til saturday, and I don't.

actually it is a summation of every law or command God ever gave, which is WAY more than ten.

as for your continued use of matt 7. Everyone works iniquity, so this would be everyone.

As I understand the Word of God, We are saved by God's Grace alone and adopted into His family and become "spiritual Jews", under the New Covenant, because the old Covenant under Law, and blood of bulls and goats etc only covered sin, but the blood of our Lord Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, removes our sin and replaces it with the Righteousness oF God through Jesus Christ. The old Covenant was of Laws we were suppose to keep, but thank our God, that He recognized that we were unable to keep, so He initiated a New covenant which made the old of no effect. Your problem is that you think because you have ten commands, You are a righteous person. When if you really understood it, there is MANY MANY more than ten commands. And on your best day you are so sinfull you could not stand in front of Christ on your own and be worthy of anything but eternal condemnation.

It is obvious the law has not led you to Christ yet, You still do not understand what it looks like to be christlike, let alone a Christian.

As i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i can a look at my life and realize i have none left or i can take a look at my life and realize that Jesus is my life Jesus is the one who breaths life so Jesus is what i will follow.
I wilL not not follow any doctrine that says the commandments are NO longer valid, and i will not listen to any argument that suggest they ARE until death do i apart, I will not list to the commandments not being valid by people saying the law is a curse i will not until death do i part and for eternity. so there are many commandmentS like (don't mock) number 2 don't get caught up in foolish arguments 3 show mercy, 4 show faithfulness, 5 show justice 6 don't mock and don't say something that will cause someone to mock back,
7 don't teach against any commandments, 8, love your brother. 9 don't give to receive. 10. don't put a stumbling block in from of your brother. i can on and on, am i doing this to gain favor or is this coming from the lord, I think the latter.

God shows us how to love others with those commands.

But that is not the reason he gave the origional ten.

If you think obeying these commands will get you to heaven. Make you more saved, Keep you from losing salvation. Your faiht is in yourself and your ability to do this. And not the work of Christ on the cross.
