Happy Sabbath to all! I praise God that I have been blessed to see the end of another work week. I pray that you all have had a blessed week as well.

Thanks, D! I too and am thankful for all that God has done this week, and I look forward to seeing what He does this next week. May you be encouraged and empowered to have Him do great things in your life on this Sabbath, and this next week!

Matt

Hope you all had a great Sabbath! I know I did, even if things were a little crazy at home to close things off. But God moved in might ways today; some good, and some seemingly bad. But I know that God works all things out for good for those that love Him, even those "bad" things are just opportunities for Him to be glorified in people's lives, and in the lives of the greater body.

Blessings to you all!
Matt

Genesis 33:4 And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.

It's been a Great Sabbat!! I hope everyone here is blessed!

Studying the Hebrew looking at the verse above, for thousands of years Torah scrolls have little marks above "and kissed him" that have nothing to do with vowel points. They are quite distinct and have been in every scroll that way. According to sages the amazing thing is, that it represents crocodile bite marks on Jacobs neck, that Esau was crying crocodile tears he was so happy to see his brother!

Anyhow, it was so moving to me, to consider how precious the Word, and the promise that one day God is going to unite all His people. He is our Father, our friend, so merciful.

And also in Hebrew is coded in and around the verse, "What is His Name, What is His Son's Name" is Hashem Yahshua Ruach!! It is only a matter of time before Israel will call on the Name of Yahshua.

Are you studying Jeremiah now?
You know what, it all happened to me on one Saturday. The wife was away with her mom on a vacation. I was bored and decided to "try" a Sabbath by doing nothing but reading Jeremiah in one seating, which normally would take a full year of Sunday school to cover. It's only then I found out how ignorant I was.

Didn't take me a whole day of reading to discover this about myself.

The division over Jesus' resurrection is whether it was on Saturday, the Sabbath, or Sunday, the first day of the week.

The Sunday people want it to be Church day, and the Saturday people say that Sunday was named after Apollo, or one of the many other sun gods.

The Saturday people want it to be the Sabbath/seventh day, and the Sunday people say that Saturday was named after Saturn, the god of reaping, along with many other attributes.

The main thing is that Jesus rose from the dead, thanks be to God!

These names of days, that we use today, were invented better than 1500 years after Christ rose. It is obvious that Passover is celebrated according to the annual calendar. I was born Dec 7th 1947. I have celebrated my birthday every day of the week close to 8 times each day of the week. I believe Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week, and was buried after the sun set three days previous. It took some time for Joseph to converse with Pilate and bury Jesus. That process clearly started well after 3 PM. It was the spring time and the sun set earlier than in the summer. After sundown, when the lamb was slaughtered is when God passed over.

Exodus 12:12-13 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

The Passover is God's actions concerning the Lamb of God. Passover is not a noun, it's a verb.

We should be celebrating God's actions because of the Lamb of God! There is no change from what was first established in the law. Read it for yourself. Passover is the 15th, and the resurrection is the 18th. Neither day is named after the Gregorian calendar days.

See Exodus 15:22-26 that describes the 18th day, and the tree related to the cross, and the water relating to the woman at the well.

Thanks, I have to say there are allegories to every story showing future events. and the statutes, stop, cede and think before act, ask am I about to harm someone else in the thoughts I am thinking to carry out, looking all ways is ir safe to cross?
Love this type is the fulfillment of all Law

Hey, I hope you all have a great Sabbath tonight and tomorrow. Don't let the day end until you have physically and spiritually blessed someone in our life. By doing that, you are serving and loving our Savior.

Be blessed, be anointed and be at peace!
Shabbat Shalom,
Matt

And remain humble so God gets all the credit and then you will be fulfilling
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Focusing on prophecy right now, and that takes me all over the Bible.
Thanks for sharing your "aha" moment, that's great. I guess it's kinda like a big world event, in that you'll always remember where you were and what you were doing when it happened.

My Sabbath guarding began shortly after finding CC. I was craving "real" Bible discussion which is sorely lacking in my life although I live amongst believers. The first nudge from God was a burning question, "What is His Name?" I studied and found what is my belief His Name is, In the Paleo-Hebrew
ImageProxy.mvc
The Name of the Creator and Savior

and as for pronunciation, would vary as much as the individual's dialect varies ..

In the same week, burnin the midnight oil, it was Bam! Remember the Sabbath!...Bam! Do not worship the Lord your God as pagans worship their gods... Bam! No idols!(house, car, stuff) The old Testament is alive today and forever!

It was quite a shock and wake up call, to be made aware of how well satan had deceived me. I have been luke-warm far too long. Complacency I suppose is the deceivers hedge bet.

So then you do reckon yourself dead to flesh then correct, did God ever say that to you? You are now dead to flesh by my Son's death and alive to me in Spirit and truth, by my Son's resurrection, justified in Spirit and not flesh.
This was my Epiphany, which or Aha moment and reckon this daily as I know and am learning all the tricks of flesh and Devil whom has been judged and made obsolete with no weapons but fear through thoughts
Is that true?

Didn't take me a whole day of reading to discover this about myself.

Could this be akin to:
[h=3]Matthew 10:16-20[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. [SUP]17 [/SUP]But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; [SUP]18 [/SUP]and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. [SUP]19 [/SUP]But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Today all are called, maybe time to have spiritual ears and hear?

I'm flat out exhausted right now. I helped some friends move for most of the day and had some furniture dropped on me. I'm opening up the church early tomorrow, and I'm teaching our 2nd service. I'll be at church for about 8 hours tomorrow.

I'm completely exhausted, and I will probably feel that way all weekend.

You know what's cool, though? It's the Sabbath! God is my rest, and He gives me rest, no matter the circumstances around me. I'm excited to teach tomorrow. I'm excited to be with God's people, and I'm excited to see how He ministers to me, and through me. My body may be hurt and tired, but my Spirit is full of joy and love for my God!

Have an absolutely, awesome, anointed, blessed, peaceful, and life-changing Sabbath!

Shabbat Shalom everyone!!
Matt

Happy Sabbath from the Philippines.

Yes, I keep the Sabbath, too. And it also has nothing to do with my salvation. I keep it because I know Jesus as the Lord of the Sabbath.

Gamlet,

So are you just finishing your Sabbath, or starting it? Sorry, I'm not too good with the different time zones.

Shabbat Shalom brothers and sisters. Amazing how time flies and already the sun has set, beginning the 7th day! Since I began accepting this invitation even Friday is different. All day I am mindful of the hour, unlike before it was no big deal. Usually my Friday is smooth, after all it is Friday. Today was an exception. First thing was encountering a wiring problem at work, of which I am solely responsible. The lesson of the day was that it is simpler to check the work in stages, which I did not do, probably for reason of overconfidence and haste. The result was more effort/time to find the broken connection.

Moral is, just because I am familiar with what I do, protocol reduces unforeseen problems, tried and true instructions is a good thing, and trumps pride and arrogance every time.

Secondly, when the electricity is flipped on from the power source and trips the breaker, somewhere along the line something is not correct. Just like learning what the Bible says..every connection must be solid, or the outcome will not shed light.

I hope you all have a bless Sabbath, and remember to thank the LORD for even the challenges in life. It's all good. :)

It's almost 12:00 lunch time Saturday here. I'm waiting for church service to finish.

Good LucK Guys,...Are Jew or Christian?

I am an incircumcised Gentile, I eat pork and any think that get in my hands. I do not have to live the Law!

You are free to be, and God teaches each of us, and as i see bottom line teaches us to just Love all; as he has already loved us through the cross and died for us to bring us back together as one in Spirit and truth in the live resurrected Christ by this Love we show each other compassion and give consent to each other provided we harm no one in the process and if we do, we apologize sincerely from our new hearts of flesh given to us by Father through the resurrected Son, Christ
So we love back as we see how deep we are loved
And we forgive back as deep as we see we are forgiven, too simple yes?

So seeing now we will only love as deep as we believe we are loved and do the same for forgiving do we not?
So how deep you all?
[h=3]Ephesians 3:16-18[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; [SUP]17 [/SUP]that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [SUP]18 [/SUP]may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Praying that all of my brothers and sisters who are setting this day aside for God will be blessed beyond words, and will truly find rest and peace in serving one another, and blessing those who need it. May God's Spirit grant you the wisdom and discernment to see who the needy are physically and spiritually, and may He use you in mighty ways to care for those people.

And may you be at peace, and be blessed in the process!

Sabbath blessing to you all, my family!
Matt

MY, my, my. Self righteousness is a hard thing to grasp. It finds ways to raise it's ugly head with out notice. Most don't even realize that keeping the Sabbath negates the work of the cross. It is bold statement that say's " I don't need the cross". Nothing wrong with going to church, in fact I encourage to go as I go myself. But, if were not for the cross, I wouldn't give a hill a beans for church.

I meant, the pharisees kept the Sabbath. but , Jesus didn't have kind words to say about them, in fact He called them a brood of vipers and blind guides, in fact they wanted there law so bad that they sent the Messiah to the cross, hated Him with murder in their hearts.

Jesus kept the Sabbath. He called himself the Lord of the Sabbath. Paul kept the Sabbath. As a Christian depending on God's grace for salvation, I see keeping the Sabbath as a great blessing. It gives the whole day to concentrate on worshiping God and enjoying my relationship with Him. Jesus criticized the Pharisees because they depended on their obedience for their righteousness (Romans 2:17). I don't. Salvation is by grace alone.
