Isaiah 26:14 tells us that, "They are now dead, they live no more; those departed spirits do not rise..." The Bible tells us that the ghosts or spirits of people who have died are located in one of two places. They are either in hell awaiting their Day of Judgement or they are in the presence of their Saviour Jesus Christ in heaven. If you are seeing spirits, you should be praying very very hard.
- 1 Timothy 4:1
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
When a medium or psychic says they are speaking with the dead they are actually in contact with evil spirits called familiar or seducing spirits. That is why trying to contact the dead is strictly forbidden and punishable by death in the Old Testament (Leviticus 20)[FONT=verdana, sans-serif] The Lord says here that if you look for the spirits of the dead He will turn against you and no longer consider you one of His people.
I do not believe in this orb business, personally I find it scary and frightening which is not from the Lord as the Lord brings peace and not fear, but that's just ME.

You see a still photo and claim it is hoovering. You have no clue what it is doing from a still photo, no idea what direction it is traveling.

If you really look closely at the photo there seems to be a black and a white lump on either side of the head like horns (oh my) - I suppose it's like faces in toast - the brain is programmed to find designs and especially faces...man on the moon etc.
I'm not mistaken. Your lack of knowledge about orbs is about equal to your lack of knowledge about the Holy Spirit.

It's well known that the eye is something our brains are programmed to recognize - it has to do with possible threat. Pupil size can tell you a lot about a threat response -- people used belladonna extract to make the pupil wide - which is the state of a woman's eyes when she is in love.
So large pupils, love, small pupils, fear....that is why you are making out that eye figure and why everyone else does too (the eye in mythology and pagan symbolism).
Not forgotten, you need to listen to this woman.
You (and we) also need to consider this:
Matthew 18: 15“If your brother or sister sins,go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.16But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[SUP]d[/SUP]17If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
Notforgotten, you've been confronted by many of us on your error here. And it's not just the orb thing, you've said a lot of things here that make my skin crawl. You are clearly in error, and many of us have lovingly tried to correct you. I think it's time we dismiss you as a pagan and a tax collector, until such time as you see your error and repent.

Look at the line in the photo - it corresponds to the line in the furniture - that part is equally illuminated and not part of the orb...but it does make a part of the eye, where the dark contrast is in that line. You can see how the furniture is adding to the design of the face.
It is hovering, the Spirit of God was probably hovering in a similar fashion over the waters in the beginning. Here is what a photograph looks like when orbs are not hovering:
Notice the trial behind them indicating movement or flight.
The eye of the Spirit of truth is not pagan. Wait, let me get some violins because this sounds dramatic. I'm not consulting evil spirits here. I'm merely discussing the Holy Spirit with photos that I find on the internet. The next thing you know RickyZ is going to want to perform an exorcism on me. I do find zealots entertaining though.

This is a prime example of an over zealous person who has misinterpreted scripture. It was Jesus and Father God who brought my mother into my life. She is in heaven. She is not dead. She is alive with Christ. And, she is not a familiar or evil spirit either. Is this what you believe that God has in store for us? Not all spirits that we see and hear are evil. God and Jesus are kind enough to occasionally allow us to see our families. There are those with God and those without. It is the human and angelic condition that we are evil and wicked without God. Those spirits with God, such as his children and the angels can be seen and heard and are not evil, dead or familiar. I do not appreciate you insinuated that my mother is in hell as a dead, familiar, evil spirit.

Check out this orb which is the beautiful blue color of beryl:
Ezekiel 1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
The two dots in the upper portion of the picture near the rims could be eyes:
Ezekiel 1:18 As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.
Please keep in mind that the wheels (orbs) appearing before Ezekiel with Father God and the Cherubim (living creatures) would have been much more than these photo's demonstrate.
