the problem with baptists, episcopalians and church of England is they ignore the old testament that Jesus told us to read and study
so they go way off track

This speaks of exactly what you are preaching. Dead works of self righteousness.
legalists need to repent of their dead works.
For Christians however, our faith is counted for righteousness, Rom 4:5.
Hence we do not turn back to the lusts of the flesh seeking to establish righteousness by works of the law ( which is sexual immorality with Hagar).

Again your ignorance of what a particular denomination teaches is evident......as I thoroughly enjoy the First Testament and teach from it regularly......I supplements the truth of salvation by faith through grace and points entirely to Jesus for total salvation and justification based upon grace, faith and mercy......

People do not seem to understand, Even in our judicial system. Which is not perfect by any means., A crime which is commited, and the penalty given by a jury of the criminals peers equals death. It does not matter how GOOD the person is. How many righteous deeds the person does. How many religious ceremonies, Legalistic ritual, or how well he obeys the ten commandments. Or how many times he allows himself to be dunked (baptized)
He still will suffer his just punishment, (death)
No amount of work can releave him of his debt to society which is his life.
It is no different than God. Who has PERFECT justice. and has passed out penalty of death TO ALL WHO HAVE EVER SINNED.
Take your good deeds to God. He will still pass on his judgment to you. they will not help you.
