Like every time,nothing will happen...What are your thoughts?
I did not stay up to see much of the eclipse. I think the first "blood moon" is supposed to occur tonight is it not? I was just curious to see what prophesy enthusiasts would have to say about these events.
If he's trying to tie it into rapture, then I think he's wrong, because, well, there is no rapture ()
But I think on some level there is something to be said with significant events happening regarding Israel as a nation during preceding blood moons, but I won't make any statement for or against a more prophetic meaning.
I listened to Hagee's speel. He didn't tie in the rapture, said it could happen any time.
Still, he doesn't tie them together. In the sermons which took place Dec 2012, he said the rapture could happen before they walk out of church that day.I read the book and all he talks about is how the rapture is coming and soon and the Blood moons and Joel 2 proves it. Again it is not in your face, but very subtle.
The sixth seal being opened mentions 'the full moon became like blood'. Revelation 6:12, it also mentions many other things happening at the same time, so we are obviously not at the opening of the 6th seal.
Still God reveals that the moon can appear to be blood red, as a witness to the world that what He has said will surely come to pass.
Maranatha

So what was the actual judgement if ch 6 is 'simply a presentation of symbols offered as judgment figures'?Rev. 6 is simply a presentation of symbols offered as judgment figures. This language is found all through scripture and never has anything to do with literal cosmic chaos.

don't get me wrong, I'm not a Hagite, I actually first learned this blood moon thing from a pastor Hagerman and I only look at the whole thing 'with interest'.That's fine cross...and I am not debating you. Hagee will answer for everything at Judgement anyway, just like we all will. I think he stretched way to far on this book, and it comes off as sowing fear and confusion. There are other prophetic Eschatology voices that completely disagree with him, that I deem more credible than Hagee.
have a good one

What was the 'actual' wrath of the Lamb they were hiding from? Symbols?
Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
And how do you know it was not literal cosmic chaos?
I wouldn't mind but I don't want to derail any further this thread of yours which I seem to have a bad habit of doing.The language itself shows us that these images are not to be taken as literal. Just from the natural limitations alone we know that it is not possible for actual stars to fall to the earth or for humanity to survive such catastrophic calamity. If you like we can take a look at how scripture uses the symbolisms and what they signify when they are used.
