Jesus Fulfills the Law
17"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.…

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;…

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin
is the servant of sin.

New International Version
1 john 2:1
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

Hebrews 10:26 26For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.

1 john 3:4-6
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. [SUP]5 [/SUP]But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. [SUP]6 [/SUP]No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

1 john 3:9
and also Jesus spoke these words

[SUP]9 [/SUP]No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. [SUP]10 [/SUP]This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

thankyou your thoughts please, please remember to be civil for the purpose of edification :)

Numbers 15:30..........

Offerings for Unintentional Sins

29You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the sons of Israel and for the alien who sojourns among them. 30But the person who does anything defiantly, whether he is native or an alien, that one is blaspheming the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him.'"

Zin, Jesus has fulfilled, or if it makes more sense to you, satisfied the law of sin and death. He paid with His death and overcame with his Resurrection. We are now under grace. This does not mean we willfully sin. This means that we are thankful and love God with All of our hearts and want to please Him.

1 Cor. 9 [SUP]1[/SUP]Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? [SUP]2 [/SUP]If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]My defense to those who examine me is this: [SUP]4 [/SUP]Do we not have a right to eat and drink? [SUP]5 [/SUP]Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas? [SUP]6 [/SUP]Or do only Barnabas and I not have a right to refrain from working? [SUP]7 [/SUP]Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it? Or who tends a flock and does not use the milk of the flock?
[SUP]8 [/SUP]I am not speaking these things according to human judgment, am I? Or does not the Law also say these things? [SUP]9 [/SUP]For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing.” God is not concerned about oxen, is He? [SUP]10 [/SUP]Or is He speaking altogether for our sake? Yes, for our sake it was written, because the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing the crops. [SUP]11 [/SUP]If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? [SUP]12 [/SUP]If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share from the altar? [SUP]14 [/SUP]So also the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]But I have used none of these things. And I am not writing these things so that it will be done so in my case; for it would be better for me to die than have any man make my boast an empty one. [SUP]16 [/SUP]For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me. [SUP]18 [/SUP]What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. [SUP]20 [/SUP]To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; [SUP]21 [/SUP]to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law. [SUP]22 [/SUP]To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some. [SUP]23 [/SUP]I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; [SUP]27 [/SUP]but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Here we see that we are not under the Law (of sin and death) but we do work and try to please God so that we do not lose our salvation. We are to continue to try to grow, but we are not under the old law. We are not cut off from God's people just because we make a mistake, this is what the Law of Grace is about!

Amen Amen Time lime become a Jew to preach to the Jew,, What that means is do not become a hater but let all badness go over the top of your head and number 1 golden rule do not show your hatred at all at all cost towards the Jew, or the weak, God bless

1 Peter 5:5-6 (Good News Translation)

5 In the same way you younger people must submit yourselves to your elders. And all of you must put on the apron of humility, to serve one another; for the scripture says, "God resists the proud, but shows favor to the humble." 6 Humble yourselves, then, under God's mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time.

I am more humble than Moses :).

I am just joking, but I do fairly well with humility. There is a lot of room for improvement still.

We are only as good and able to refrain from sin and worldly lusts as the grace of God teaches us through the word and the Holy Spirit. You are going to have to think hard about what that means because so many believe that when they are saved they automatically have no desires of the flesh or for certain lust patterns that result in sin. 'Who shall deliver me from this body of sin and death' Yes, the cross of Christ has crucified the affections and lusts of the flesh so that we can be free but we must have grace to walk in the Spirit to be able to abstain from these things that involve sin and the flesh. We must learn not to be conformed to this world and all that is in the world and be transformed by constantly growing and having our minds renewed through the word and the Spirit.

Paul never disqualified himself as a child of God when he sinned or fell short of the grace of God. He simple said it was not I but sin that dwelt in him. We have the same confession of faith with the same determination by faith to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ and little by little be removed from the lifestyle of sin that we were a part of prior to our salvation. Many believers have no active fellowship with Christ (and that would be the opposite of faith which is a subtle form of sin), yet, they are going on in this life and are we to determine that they are the children of the devil? Many other believers struggle with sin yet have a heart after God and are never able to find rest in a sinful lifestyle, would they also be considered children of the devil? A child of the devil is one whose heart has never been turned by the grace of God to acknowledge sin or that Christ paid for their sin.

ok so does that mean its ok for mr joe blogs to carry having an affair after being born again,, remembering what Jesus to the adulterer,, Jesus said you are forgiven but get up and walk and sin no more.

[h=2]Re: who says your future sins are forgiven God or satan cause i would really like to know[/h]
with a title like that, what do you expect.
your future sins are atoned for and therefore can be forgiven.
is that what you wanted to know:confused:

adding satan for the shock value was a nice touch though.:(

Re: who says your future sins are forgiven God or satan cause i would really like to

How can i sin if i follow the law of the land the law of love and i love god and don't mock and don't slander, how can i sin if i walk away from hate and choose to not answer any hateful comments with repaying evil with evil , how can i sin if im not jealous,, how can i sin if i forgive my enemies, how can i sin if i have stooped smoking mariwana and cigarets,,how can i sin if i do not keep the lords word in his book a secret? how can i sin if i am gluten free.. God bless you to.. how can i sin if i have recognized my own sins and choose not to sin no more ?,, does one break all the commandments every day or just one or two ?? surley if you become a child of god you can recognise which commandment your breaking and stop breaking them,, surely one can stop thieving ,, surely one can stop being mocking, surely one can do God bless..
