?

i don't really understand the purpose of this thread.....

but as to your question, no, I don't particularly celebrate these days any more than any other day when I thank God for sending his Son to die for me.

Purpose? I was just asking for people to share. Seems that when people on here ask personal things there is nothing to share. Almost like programs written to respond to certain chains and a lack or chains is a lack thereof. As many people who celebrate lent or easter in the US and there is hardly a word of it on these threads. Seems strange.

Understand this. Your facetious remarks (OP) are not according to the attitude that scripture says is correct for a believer in Christ Jesus.

Hello jag1977,

I celebrate the sacrifice of Christ Jesus my risen Lord, moment by moment, as I look forward to the day when He will 'appear', and the promise made, of resurrection life for all who believe in the all-sufficiency of His sacrifice on their behalf, will be realised.

I was brought up to 'keep' these days, with Witsun walks, Easter eggs and Christmas presents. However, now in my heart I do not 'keep' the day, for they are of man's making. Yet I find myself buying the eggs and the presents along with everyone else, for I have grandchildren who would be very disappointed not to receive something from me at those times. Hypocricy? Not in my heart, before God, no.

May God's will be perfectly done in each one of us, for His Name and glory's sake.
In Christ Jesus
Chris

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. . . (Mark 16:2) He is not here: for he is risen. . . (Matt. 28:6)

Happy Resurrection Day!

'He that regardeth the day,
regardeth it unto the Lord;
and he that regardeth not the day,
to the Lord he doth not regard it.
He that eateth, eateth to the Lord,
for he giveth God thanks;
and he that eateth not,
to the Lord he eateth not,
and giveth God thanks.

For none of us liveth to himself,
and no man dieth to himself.

For whether we live,
we live unto the Lord;
and whether we die,
we die unto the Lord:
whether we live therefore,
or die,
we are the Lord's. '

(Rom 14:6-8)

Praise God!

You must be having a difficult time with the remarks I posted. I hope you come to the understanding of my true meaning.

More mocking? it doesn't seem the Almighty would think this thread title is as funny as the op does, but i don't know. Sharing Jesus is not a joking matter. sharing and caring, is better than mocking and scorning.
