Jesus called himself Son of God, Bread of God, in John 6. He's also called Lamb of God, and other names describing His being. one thing we do see, is that Jesus is like God, and doesn't call it robbery to call Himself equal to God, John 5:17-18.

If God has a soul, then how can God be Jesus.

Actually He told everyone to be perfect like God. That is if God was your Father.
