How come He is going to watch from on high as the soon coming Anti-Christ slowly beheads the saints as their family and children watch them scream in agony?

How come He allowed the Somalian man to die an undignified and torturous be-heading? I thought Jesus died to give freedom, not to let people die fates worse than that of the cross.

Let's face it, He isn't the motherly gentle Creator new Christians like myself think. That is our subjective view of the brimstone and fire throwing objective God of consuming fire. He is a hyper-masculine king who will beat and chastise you like a mule into perfection for His glory. It's not so comforting....

Not comforting to think that scarcely will the righteous be saved. That few find the narrow path. That most Christians are going to Hell and the Earth shudders as the approaching great and terrible day of The Lord inches closer. That Jesus will turn crying and wailing people with no understanding straight to the torture of Hell, including most Christians. That is entirely scriptural.

Makes me want to...err...just not waste my time on this jealous God anymore...
Ah well your quandry is quite simple to answer. For sake of clarification it's the age old "why does God let suffering happen" argument.

Its in Genesis. Mankind ate the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and began to die because the serpent beguiled man. So that is why there is suffering in the world.

Sure God shall watch the second beast and many of the wicked kill the righteous throughout times to come. However God is not the cause of this. He is the solution. Keep reading to the end of Revelation. Jesus is the one who resurrects all of them that were slain and they live forever! Death have no power over Jesus, for proof of that read the Gospels.

And no offense, but many people on this site worship the God of Sarah Palin, the CBN, Billy Graham, and Joel Osteen...a watered down "just believe and prosper" God. Most posts on here are about "What word comes next?" or "Should I get earrings" or "Should I get a tattoo?" No one ever lives in realty!!! Just a "I'm going to Heaven which must be a giant beach with paradise houses and many malls and carnivals" so let's be blissfully happy because life is good!!!! Sorry, Sorry, don't mean to be mean, but life is so terrible! Our Creator is terrible! Many reading this will not be saved! I wish I were never born!

Your attitude and comments scare me. I'm scared for you! You wish you were never born?! God created you and LOVES YOU and has a purpose in you being here!!! All you have to do is love Him back. Your Bible should be an enormous source of strength. Where people get it wrong is that they think a loving God would give us everything we want all the time. Would you give your child everything he wants all the time without consequences? No. There are consequences to our behavior and sometimes those consequences have HUGE impacts.

Please just love God and let Him love you. The peace you will receive will be the peace of God that is beyond human understanding. I'll keep you in my prayers that you let God in and He comforts you as only He can.

your anger at God shows but it doesn't change the fact that he loves everyone and wants no one to go to hell !!! but your anger is misdirected! your mad at men who do evil! God gives us choices and it started from Adam and eve, why would God make people who were forced to love him. the evil that men do has been going on for along time. The terrible things that are happening now is only going to get worse. You need to take a breath get on your knees and ask God to forgive you and read your bible and start trusting in God! not men to do good because the Good in men doesn't compare to the Good of GOD..

So if God apparently knows who's going to be with him and who isn't, what's the point of having those who won't be around then? There's free will but apparently God seems to know who's doing good and who's doing bad before it happens. So he must've known Hitler was going to kill over six million people as one example... How does that make any sense? I'd say more but I'll stop from here...

I hear you
I believe the christain church is weak and corrupt full of vanity and self indolegence
False prophets abound professing words to be from god while puffing up their own standing among the church
They prayer is to Jesus and not to God the father as was taught
There is much glorifying of works and little talk of the power of the spirit of God to move and stur the hearts of man
I believe the church needs to be a battle ready force ready to defeat those who would come to kill and torture in the name of their own god
Jesus layed his life down for us
We are not asked to do the same and be trampeled on
No we are to take up the sword the spirit of The Lord and proclaim the ever living king as King if Kings and Lord of Lords
And in peace receive those who accept him as their saviour
And that's how I see it

If you saw a man being beaten
A store owner being robbed
A bus driver being abused
A child being raped
A boy being forced to kill
Would you stand by and say oh well it must be Gods will ?
No of corse not
I would hope you would interven
I would defend my brother or sister
I would defend the weak
I would help the poor
Would you do all this ?
The time is to now to say I will do all this in His name with the power if his spirit
I'm sorry to say that the times of happy days Sunday school is over
It's time to choose your Lord and what you stand for
What do you stand for ?
Cookies on Sunday
Or life with Christ

I just want to say I am truly sorry for posting this. It was done with sinister intentions in a very bad mindset to stir up debate and strife. I apologize. I am learning about spiritual warfare and have reason to believe I've been under serious demonic oppression for some time, and certainly the mindset I was in when posting this was not of God. I am sorry for the debate it caused and particularly if it discouraged believers and especially new believers. Please forgive me and know God is gentle and lowly in heart.
I wish I could delete this post. Is it possible?

We need to concentrate on the love of God as in: 'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life' (John 3.16).
