Ever had a question you wanted to ask an unbeliever but don't know any or were afraid to ask? I'd be happy to answer anything about myself, atheists, or atheism in general. I'll try to answer all of them to the best of my ability. Thanks
Was Jesus a lunatic? a liar? or who He said He was? (please explain your answer.) thanks![]()
How can an atheist explain prophecies of Daniyl particularly that of the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniyl? (I understand most atheistis dont know but I usually go through it with them.)
How did these men know these scientific facts when the whole world thought the world was flat for thousands of years later?
Proverbs 8:26-29, "Before Yahweh made the earth or the fields, or any of the dust of the world, I, was with Him. When He prepared the heavens, I, was there. When He drew a circle on the face of the deep, When He established the clouds above, and securely fixed the fountains of the deep."
Iyowb (Job) 26:7, "He stretches out the north sky over an empty space, and He hangs the earth upon nothing."
I guess my only honest answer is I don't know. The documentation of his life is really shotty. I'm also not a historian. Some historians have given evidence for why such a man never existed. Others say he did. I honestly think that he was a real man that may have been a prophet and teacher that lived a normal life and attracted a following. People then wrote stories about him and turned him into the character in the bible by attaching the supernatural claims. He was probably written in to fulfill the OT prophecies and to reform the religion to make it more appealing as the OT laws were becoming outdated as society and their morals changed.
1st, I appreciate your honest answer. "I don't know." I guess my response would be. "Shouldn't you check it out?" not just the biased websites. Think about this. The bible says satan is the ruler of this world. So even from a biblical standpoint you have to assume that there is false information designed to lead you away from the truth. Ergo, you would have to search more extensively. Isn't it worth it? after all if Jesus really is the Son of God, you don't want to miss THAT boat.
I never said they weren't real people. Theres lots of physical and extra biblical documents supporting their existence. The Romans kept very good records. Jesus on the other hand has only the bible to support his existence and not much else. Maybe just enough to support the idea that a man named Jesus may have existed but certainly not that he did what he did.
We find ancient manuscript which match the Word of God we have today that date as early as the first century, and the way it is written is. "as you all know" and "as you all have seen." can you imagine if a mass scale book came out that said basically that within our lifetime all of these great lies occurred? those documents never would have survived and in such numbers. You really must seek harder my friend.
I don't follow. Can you clarify what you mean here? Thanks
I will return. Thank you for being so honest and open to discussion.
No thank you! I'll talk to you later
Do atheists believe in aliens?

And none have ever made prophecies this accurate in history, I own Nostradamus book and it is drastically vague.
Also, do you believe in objective moral values and duties? Is it objectively wrong to rape baby or is it just subjectively wrong?
What is human rationality (chemical reactions in our brain, atoms colliding with one another to form thoughts?) and why do you trust it to tell you the truths of our existence, meaning, purpose? Why do we even have the ability to ask these questions?
(in parallel with another popular thread)
do you exist?
How do you explain the fact that many religious people feel God's presence when they communicate with him? Do you believe that we are just hallucinating or imagining it? And if so, why would humans have evolved to have these feelings?
You have no evidence they exist yet you believe they do? Interesting.Well I can't speak for all atheists in this matter but I would say yes and no. Not aliens like they're depicted in movies but most atheists do believe that alien life exists in the universe. It's just a matter of probability.
