Herod's addition to the Temple is not the Second Temple. Herod's additions came centuries afterwards. Herod's additions would fall outside the bounds of the Temple also. 2nd Temple was built by the jews during the time of the Medo-Persian Empire I believe.

and by Christ's time, it became known as Herod's Temple. Didn't say Herod built it, it's construction was under the guidance of Ezra, but it became know as Herod's Temple.

As I said before, I believe that the beast was Israel/Judah so as I have been saying that the destruction of Jerusalem/Temple was the destruction of the beast. God forced the end of the sacrifice to bring in/finalize the new. Since that time sacrifices could not be done because the Temple was destroyed and the priests were scattered. Just as we see in Nehemiah 7, you must have a confirmed lineage to be a priest. This lineage was made impossible to confirm in the destruction of Jerusalem.

Paul is quoting the old testament - He is not making a new statement here.

Again, I do not claim to know everything (so I probably will not have an answer for everything that you ask), but I do know enough to not buy into a temple that will be built in our future (at least not one that is from God).

1. Paul did not quote the old testiment in the verse I showed you. He is stating something is happening (partial hardening) and this will continue until something is completed (fullness of the gentiles) at which point something will occure (ALL Israel (national) Will at that time repent and come to Christ, or be saved.)
2. Then he quoted the OT to prove what he was saying WILL happen will.

2. the beast is called Rome (iron and Clay)
3. Rome in the day of Christ, and even 70 AD did not hold the characteristics of the final aspect of the empire spoken of by Daniel.

they made the mosaic covenant void. (again see lev 26. this was promised to happen)

Again lets stick to the topic. We are discussing the abrahaim covenant., Which was not a conditional covenant., (as was the mosaic) and was called an eternal covenant.

mankind can not void a covenant which is based on Gods promise of "I WILL". (non conditional covenant)

If he can, you better worry, because your covenant of grace is in jeopardy. If God can renig on his covenant to Israel. he can renig on his covenant with us, And say we have made it void.

is it that, or is he saying the iron is mixed with clay. something that does not mix well.

the ten kings, the 3 destroyed, and the rest giving their allegiance to the beast. thus it is a strong, but fractured empire (iron and clay mix)

remember, all these beasts have to do with gentile empires. nothing to do with israel. except Israel being their slaves.
