Thank you, i can see partially JESUS in that story and they are true. JESUS did heal people and told them, sin no more and or something worst shall happen to you. Upon hearing these words of JESUS, if one was wise that person would have followed/continued with JESUS, in order for that person knowing the consequences, will not want to fall again, even through deception. Only the unwise will continue without direction, on their own, empty and soon fall into a ditch that awaits them.
Many gifted Christian have journeyed on their own and even the church, sadly in deception. They think and believe that they are doing good things for JESUS and so i am. But a ditch awaits all of us and sadly even you, who have only quoted a partial of the Good deeds and labor of JESUS for the Kingdom of GOD.
i too thank you and i understand and know through you the story of this rich man and am able to add. It is true that the rich man did redeem the two enslaved fighters from their wicked master.
And they were among many others who were redeemed earlier. And further, before this rich man left for a far away country, to be crowned as KING, HE compassionately prepared all of them, in teaching them now the Good winning way to follow hence forth and before doing so, the way in forgetting one'self' first. Also in the way of being in gratitude and being in debt to love and help save other fighters and further more the way in recognizing and overcoming deception, that which resides closely among them, it's motive is to deceive many in order to be worst off than before. And together also reminders not to fall back again but to be alert and stay awake. Forward and excel HE commanded them before leaving.
After HE left, some of the redeemed ones who faithfully followed HIM and HE sanctify them with HIS words, further 'abide/continue/keep' in all of them, even during HIS absents and were liberated in the end by winning many for the rich man.
Sadly, many of the fighters who went on, on their own way, were once again trapped and regain fighting and enslaved. The rich man when one day HE came back to claim everything that HE owned, found them out to be unfaithful and compromised.
And HE said; "I have redeem you once and fed you hence forth to be liberated but you did not continue to remain in Me and so I in you, until I come back, nor even in My servants, in order to be liberated and be with me in the future.
And so 'lawless' one, I now remove and renounce you once and from all and hand you over as wicked you are, with your wicked master forever and ever.
This is how i am taught and to see and to practice the New Covenant, Law of the SPIRIT of life and as how my future is justified today by HIS Words, counted lawful and faithful or lawless and unfaithful?
As it is written; "Workout your salvation in fear and trembling."
There is a workout, as how a body builder work out obediently and stage by stage, in order to reach the crown of Mr. Universe. It is not the things for body building does the workout for them but the body builder themselves, first by knowledge and ability and then work out and supplements and competition and defeats and perseverance and victory.
i don't know about you but i am highlighted all these things in HIS words that HE expect me to comply with/abide, in order to be set free from carnality. Carnality is making a come back in my life strongly and it's fruits are written in Galatians 5;19-21. This is because the vast availability for the flesh out there.
i know it is written; "You reap what you sow and you harvest what you plant."
