eyes watering from the laughter

ooooh, the abomination that makes desolation....it is basically corrupt grammar. I just figured this one out and it is consistent with each mention of the abomination etc. Get this...it is basically incorrect use of pronouns. To actually notice this it takes an understanding of English beyond a 3rd grade level.

Pronouns are grouped and used based on certain categories such as NOMINATIVE, OBLIQUE, GENITIVE, POSSESSIVE ( I, ME , MY/MINE, MINE...respectively, 1st person singular) Dan 11 for example uses (HIS and THEY ...together)(HE and THEM ...together)(HIM and THEIR ...together or by some other combination) HIS is Genitive 3rd person singular however THEY is Nominative 3rd person plural. HE is Nominative 3rd person singular however THEM is Genitive 3rd person plural. These words are swapped and should be used as such...(HIS/THEM) and (HE/THEY) and (HIM/THEIR)

Dan 11
And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.[SUP]26 [/SUP]Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
[SUP]31 -----[/SUP]And arms shall stand on HIS part, and THEY shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and THEY shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.------
[SUP]32 [/SUP]And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know THEIR God shall be strong, and do exploits.

It seems we have all these life long Christians, scholars, and geniuses however nothing has changed. I can say with confidence no one knows what they are doing with the Christian religion. Prove me wrong...

Just a case of pronoun wars...I and THEY are kosher together however the point was to prove ME wrong.

Yawn. This thread is going to be really productive. NOT.
It was productive. You experienced an I level scriptural reading in the purest form of the English language. Care to weigh in on the abomination that makes desolation?

Oh there is change, but we, the blood bought, are to blame for allot for the condition that we find in our homes, in our neighbourhoods, in our counties , in the nations that we live in because there is a "war" going on all around us and we are blind to it. It is a spiritual battle and the bad things about it is that souls are being fought for, souls that either will be won By Christ or lost to Christ. We don't pray enough, we don't bring our loved ones before the "Throne of Grace" where mercy can be received.

But there is also something else at work and that is God Himself, He has a plan and it is at work in this world, and we see it but are blind to it also. Things are working together to the good He says, but do we see it, do we understand it? I think not to our shame. The world is standing at the gateway to the end. We are not far from (read His Word) the rapture, I would like to think (but do not really know) but hope is the last thing that dies. And we can put it another way, the end times scenario play, the stage has been build, and there are a few objects that will be used in this play already on stage, and we are waiting only for the actors to show up, and then the show must go on! To the glory and power of God! Be blessed and why not?

The bible is the same old kids story and has been for hundreds of years. No one can provide a SOLID understanding of any part of it. There are always flaws in meanings and people argue over what the true meanings actually are. Nothing changes.
What does this verse of God's inspired scripture mean to you and the rest of the chapter?

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Here's some of the rest of that chapter.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

We do not look for change as believers, but we look to Christ, we look to His promises, we believe His word and we hope to the end. This is how a believer walks by faith. This transforms the way a believer thinks, not according to the world but according to faith, God's word through the Holy Spirit that dwells within. We walk by faith, our confession is one of faith and we are justified by that faith in every detail of life. What God does in response to our faith is to fill us with the fruit of the Spirit in (Gal 5:22,23) and to motivate us in the love of God. We grow in grace and knowledge of Christ and God's plan helps us to become what He has already made us to be through the new birth. God never changes and He is faithful to what He has promised and as we grow we learn to trust His faithfulness.

1 Cor 2:9-12

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

There was an argument in there? Genuinely, GENUINELY could not see one. I just saw you talking a lot about pronouns and grammatical cases.

I say you have excellent observation skills. That is a great talent to possess.

I just have to make sure you understand that the Hebrew language is considered sacred and is the purpose of the OT, to ensure it is preserved. The scribes of the Hebrew language are sparingly selected because of the importance of keeping the letters and entire language exactly preserved. I cannot help but suspect after finding grammatical errors in times of biblical troubles that there is a framework taught about the English language as well. The effect language has on the mind is like software to a computer. If it is not properly defined and wholly set then problems arise in that system....inaccuracies, bugs, sluggishness, etc. Same as with improper language use. The errors are laid in the scripture to keep those not whole from the true understanding of it's teachings. I know they are there, I just pointed out a few in a few verses. I don't know how I can intimately understand a book if I do not know everything about the rules of the language in which it was written and while reading properly identify and self correct errors. I would appreciate you putting more effort in understanding my post prior to responding with ignorance. It's a HUGE argument, it's the foundation for your faith. Step on over into the light. There is an entire new book hidden or you can keep reading fairy tales and labeling others by denomination or lack of faith in your shortcomings.

I have been where you are. I know what scriptures you are going to post in response to different arguments. I have done the same thing. They who also share the scriptures should know we are all on the same path to understanding. Some new some whose faith has left the confines of this world. Call it faith, religion, grace, etc....I call it putting in 1000 times more time than you ever thought you could, straight WORD WORK. If not, I suggest you keep praying and hoping.

1 Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.

They called him the Reverend when he entered the Church unstained;
His employers have changed but the name has remained
It all began when he went on a tour
hoping to find some furniture.

He followed a sign - it said "Beautiful Chest".
It led to a lady who showed him her best.
She was taken by surprise when he quickly closed his eyes.

So she rang the bell, and quick as hell
Bob the Nob came out on his job
to see what the trouble was.

"Louise, is the Reverend hard to please?"
"You're telling me!"

"Perhaps, sir, if it's not too late
We could interest you in our old-fashioned Staffordshire plate?"

"Oh no, not me, I'm a man of repute."
But the Devil caught hold of his soul
and a voice called out "Shoot!"

To save his steeple, he visited people;
for this he'd gone when he met Little John.
His name came, I understood,
when the judge said "You're a robbing hood."

He told of his strange foundation,
conceived on sight of the Woodstock nation;
he'd had to hide his reputation.

When poor, 'twas salvation from door to door.
But now, with a pin-up guru every week,
it's Love, Peace & Truth Incorporated for all who seek.

He employed him as a karma-ma-mechanic, with overall charms.
His hands were then fit to receive, receive alms.

Strap them kids in
Give 'em a little bit of vodka in a cherry coke
We're going to Oklahoma to the family reunion for the first time in years
It's up at uncle Slayton's cause he's getting on in years
You know he no longer travels but he's still pretty spry
He's not much on talking and he's just too mean to die
And they'll be comin' down from Kansas
and from west Arkansas
It'll be one great big old party like you never saw
Uncle Slayton's got his Texan pride
Back in the thickets with his Asian bride
He's got a Airstream trailer and a Holstein cow
His still makes whiskey 'cause his still knows how
He plats that Choctaw bingo every Friday night
You know he had to leave Texas but he won't say why
He owns a quarter section up by Lake Eufala
Caught a great big ol' blue cat on a driftin' jug line
Sells his hardwood timber to the shipping mill
Cooks that crystal meth because the shine don't sell
He cooks that crystal meth because the shine don't sell
You know he likes his money he don't mind the smel
lMy cousin Roscoe Slayton's oldest boy from his second marriage up in Illinois
He was raised in East St. Louis by his momma's people
Where they do things different
Thought he'd just come on down
He was going to Dallas Texas in a semi truck culled from that big McDonald's
You know the one they built up on that great big ol' bridge
Across the Will Rogers Turnpike
Took the Big Cabin exit stopped and bought a couple of cartons of cigarettes
At that Indian Smoke Shop with the big neon smoke rings
In the Cherokee Nation hit Muskogee late that night
Somebody ran a stoplight at the Shawnee Bypass
Roscoe tried to miss 'em but he didn't quiteBob and Mae come up from little town
Way down by lake Texoma where he coaches football
They were two A champions now for two years running
But he says they won't be this year no they won't be this year
And he stopped off in Tushka at that "Pop's Knife and Gun" place
Bought a SKS rifle and a couple a full cases of that steel core ammo
With the berdan primers from some East bloc nation that no longer needs 'em
And a Desert Eagle that's one great big ol' pistol
I mean .50 caliber made by badass Hebrews
And some surplus tracers for that old BAR of Slayton's
Soon as it gets dark we're gonna have us a time
We're gonna have us a timeRuth Ann and Lynn come down from Baxter Springs
That's one hell raisin' town way up in Southeastern Kansas
Got a biker bar next to the lingerie store
That's got them Rolling Stones lips up there in bright pink neon
And they're right down town where everyone can see 'em
And they burn all night you know they burn all night you know they burn all night
Ruth Ann and Lynn they wear them cut off britches and those skinny little halters
And they're second cousins to me
Man I don't care I want to get between 'em
With a great big ol' hard on like a old bois d' arc fence post
You could hang a pipe rail gate from
Do some sister twisters 'til the cows come home
And we'd be havin' us a time
Uncle Slayton's got his Texan pride
Back in the thickets with his Asian bride
He's cut that corner pasture into acre lots`
He sells 'em owner financed
Strictly to them that's got no kind of credit 'Cause he knows they're slackers
When they miss that payment
Then he takes it back
He plays that Choctaw Bingo every Friday night
Drinks that Johnny Walker at that Club 69
We're gonna strap them kids in give 'em a little bit o' Benadryl
And a cherry coke we're goin' to Oklahoma Gonna have us a time
