There you go, you are catching on even though I drag you. Someone was asking about God lying about Adam and Eve dying after eating the fruit. I gave the most complete answer that can be given on the first page and yet there were pages upon page beyond my answer about nonsense, still topic related, but nothing about truth. That is a dragon with the name Ages.

I say you have excellent observation skills. That is a great talent to possess.

I just have to make sure you understand that the Hebrew language is considered sacred and is the purpose of the OT, to ensure it is preserved. The scribes of the Hebrew language are sparingly selected because of the importance of keeping the letters and entire language exactly preserved. I cannot help but suspect after finding grammatical errors in times of biblical troubles that there is a framework taught about the English language as well. The effect language has on the mind is like software to a computer. If it is not properly defined and wholly set then problems arise in that system....inaccuracies, bugs, sluggishness, etc. Same as with improper language use. The errors are laid in the scripture to keep those not whole from the true understanding of it's teachings. I know they are there, I just pointed out a few in a few verses. I don't know how I can intimately understand a book if I do not know everything about the rules of the language in which it was written and while reading properly identify and self correct errors. I would appreciate you putting more effort in understanding my post prior to responding with ignorance. It's a HUGE argument, it's the foundation for your faith. Step on over into the light. There is an entire new book hidden or you can keep reading fairy tales and labeling others by denomination or lack of faith in your shortcomings.

I have been where you are. I know what scriptures you are going to post in response to different arguments. I have done the same thing. They who also share the scriptures should know we are all on the same path to understanding. Some new some whose faith has left the confines of this world. Call it faith, religion, grace, etc....I call it putting in 1000 times more time than you ever thought you could, straight WORD WORK. If not, I suggest you keep praying and hoping.
Well, I'm glad someone has it all sorted...

But I still don't see the argument that you're trying to put forward. Can you point out again these 'errors', and then why they are errors?

I also find it interesting that you're making an argument based on English grammar in regards to a text which, as you have already observed, was originally composed in Hebrew (of course, pointing out that the most of Daniel 2-7 is, in fact, written in Aramaic)

I would love to see you pluck fruit from a stump sometime. That has to be some kind of unusual sight.

Are you going to continue to be smugly cryptic, or did you genuinely want to have an actual discussion? I looked through your earlier post - something about the wrong pronouns being used, because nominative and possessive cases are used together, but to me it actually doesn't make a lot of sense.

Seeing as we're all so ignorant, perhaps you'll extend the courtesy of schooling us a little more.

If I were you I would understand as you and we, of they, would never have the option to discuss such a post. Just as Jesus called Peter out of the boat, Peter was incapable despite holding all the faith in the world. The spirit is here and will come upon you like a mighty wind when you are near. It is I that has a choice to lift you up or place a yoke upon you. Know that them words shall not come upon us nor enter into our houses as if they staked their claim by hiding themselves from all. These words are spirit. HE lives inside that YOU, YOU is HIM. HIS eye is YOURS. YOUR stable is kept small and tall in HIS works. Until you free from you...know HE that is HIM and all the works that are HIS cease on the Sabbath. That is where you shall gain your freedom and see idol upon idol. Timing is the last key and the only key that is yours and it leads to salvation.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Keep me over you. ME YOU have life. I AM ME have life eternal. All that is commanded is MINE. MY power comes with ME.
I AM the LORD MY GOD I shall have no other Gods before ME. If an I AM comes and commands YOU and YOU is allowed to come before ME then YOU have confessed YOU and YOU is now under a yoke and with YOU YOU choose to go.

I know the torah was written in HEBREW. Daniel, who cares, half of that book is plagiarized from Genesis.

Smugly cryptic enough for YOU?

I think I get it now....

I am HE as YOU are HE as YOU are ME and WE are all together.

Am I on the right track?

Start from the beginning Genesis 1...

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.[SUP]3 [/SUP]And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]And God called the light Day, and the darkness """HE""" called Night.

The light is good and is of God. The darkness was separated out by God and is not of God, it is the absence of God. ""HE""(not God) rules the darkness. Even though they are pronouns they do not carry the purpose of a pronoun. They are entities in the bible. Skip to Genesis 2

And on the seventh day God ended ""HIS"" work which ""HE"" had made; and ""HE"" rested on the seventh day from all HIS work which HE had made.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it HE had rested from all HIS work which God created and made.

Why is the HE in verse 5 not God? It would seem most logical that the He is referring to God, not this other entity. In fact, that is made even clearer in the Hebrew (and for that matter, the Hebrew), where pronouns are grammatically tied more closely to their referents in English. For instance, the Hebrew there doesn't use a separate word for the pronoun 'he' - the verb for 'called' is simply conjugated to essentially reflect the nominative case, clearly referring to the subject of the sentence, who is God.

I fear you read too much into the English grammar.

i thought it was simple. Jesus said his burden was light and he was kind and humble. is it supposed to be hard?

okay. i still don't get it.

Yet another bold statement, nothing has changed.
The bible is the same old kids story and has been for hundreds of years. No one can provide a SOLID understanding of any part of it. There are always flaws in meanings and people argue over what the true meanings actually are. Nothing changes.
I do not see change...you know what I see? I see people trying to make the word come to truth in today's world. Like the stories are supposed to be played out with an end of times eventually. The bible is not predicting the future, carnally minded individuals and groups are using it as a guide to an eventual destruction of humanity. They actually think they are playing out God's plan. Its insanity.
