I'm getting an outdoor kitty!! ^_^
We've had a kitty come and visit on my front porch of our house for a while now. Since this past fall. It's a very friendly kitty, pretty sure it's a boy, but I can't say that for certain. The shop beside my house always has it around, but we weren't sure if it belonged to them or not. Since we're moving, I've thought about the cat a lot. I've really started to like it, because it went straight up to me and always has this delighted look on its face when I see it. It always makes my day when I can go and pet it.
So my sister and I were thinking, well, maybe it can be an outdoor cat at the new house. We asked Dad, and he told us to go ask the owners of the shop first. So we went over, and asked the lady there how she felt about that. She was almost delighted to hear we were going to take it. She's going to give us all of its stuff when we move.
We might keep it in our basement for a few days so it can get used to the idea that this is its new home. We'll have to clean the basement often because of potential allergies, but the dogs never go into the basement at the house we're living in now. I doubt that will change when we go to the new house.
Hopefully I can get it fixed, a collar, and maybe get it chipped, too, just in case it does try and make its way back to the old house and gets lost. Do they chip cats? I dunno, I've never had one before.

My Father wanted a cat when I was a kid to catch mice. The cat we got was very sweet but she didn't catch mice. She did however get pregnant, we ended up with 7 cats. Gave two away kept the rest, they were indoor outdoor kitties. Thus started my love of cats.
I saw a cat running around the other day when we were taking a walk. I went over to pet it and my Husband said, no more cats! We have 3, so far since we've been married, well let's see, we started with his 2, Katy and Sara, then we were driving and I saw a kitten dart across the road. When he stopped at a red light I jumped out and got the kitten, that was Victor Kitty Akis. About 5 years after we were married Katy died. So we have the other two. Then about 3 years ago Sara died, so we had Victor. I had to go to Petsmart and get cat food one day, I also came home with a shelter cat named Sam that was on display at the store. Then a girl I worked with had a cat who had kittens I took one named Oreo. Then Sam got out and got hit by a car. So we had Oreo and Victor. Victor passed away about a year later. We got Fluffy from a woman who rescued fluffy and his brother's from somewhere. So one day I come home Oreo had gotten out, got hit, died. Yes awful, I was like the local cat killer. A lady from church said she was moving and begged me to take her two adult cats, Funk and Jazz because she couldn't. I asked her, really me? I have cats dying all over the place. She said yes, my Husband actually said, Yes we will take them. They're great cats they don't try get out very loving.
So we've had our share of cats.
Well considering I think I've found the man I'm supposed to marry, the Lord has certainly thrown in quite a bit of opposition. Three people in one day, one of which matters a lot to me. This isn't going to be easy since I wanted him at my wedding. :/
However, the opposition won't stop me if this is what God wants.

I posted a prayer request.. would appreciate prayer for it... I feel like a prayer hog with the amount of prayer I've been asking for lately, but things are really difficult and I really am thankful for the prayers.
