Our government reflects the thinking of the people. Sin is, more and more, part of our people.

I think that when something breaks spiritual laws as basic as this sexual union that is uniting in a way so different from how we were created, it is shaking something so fundamental in our world that every person living will suffer.

An example of it is given in a spiritual reading of the vision of Nebachadnezzar depicting the metals that symbolized the nations through the ages. The feet are of iron and clay, mixed, representing the last nations who mixed what God did not create to be mixed and so shattered.

Personally, I think anything I can do or anyone can do to stop the march the world is taking toward helping this mixing is justified.

We are living,in a time of that is like none other, actually it is like the time of Noah.Natural relations replaced with that unnatural and disgusting. They have a agenda, and most people have a difficult time seeing it,turn the hearts and minds away from GOD.

This issue isn't so black and white imo. I think that someone should be able to see someone they love in the hospital and have legal rights like that. How would you feel if your husband or wife was in the hospital and might die and you couldn't see them? That's not right to do to anyone, period. As Christians I think we need to spend less time hating and more time loving one another, that after all was what Jesus commanded.

I've had some struggles in this department myself. In high school I was in what would be considered a "gay relationship." It never got "sexual" in a physical sense, if you understand my meaning. It was, however, deeply romantic and emotional, alot of kissing. This was someone I'd pretty much been raised with. Our mothers were best of friends from their youth, both were single moms (mine from death, his from divorce), and we and our sisters were raised side-by-side. So it's possible for the "in love" part to be there without the "sexual." Our mothers figured out how we felt at some point, probably much sooner than we were aware, and were actually supportive. Maybe they shouldn't have been, but then they were rather liberal-minded.

I am 100% for gay marriage. The happier people are the better the marriage and the better for their children. A smile a day keeps the divorce courts away.

because I question you?.....that's not a good sign

what makes being gay any worse than any sin you or I make during a week/ day?
Personally I think that this is a silly question. A person may get up from his desk at work and take a pencil with him which in essence is stealing. I cannot imagine in my wildest dreams that homosexuality is no different to taking the pencil.

Then, to you sin isn't all bad, since some of it is rather small. That's bull. All sin separates us from God. It doesn't matter if it's an inch or a mile, it has the same end, Hell. Practiced Homosexuality is no worse than lying, having an affair, murder, or theft. Don't go claiming we must have a standard sin, or worse sin. That is the lie of the Devil.

Hey Zalen, I'm not a Christian and I support gay marriage. I know that might not mean much to anyone here, but I'm not here for religion. I'm here to get my voice out about Gay Marriage, so here's a video that I made about what I think about the subject of Gay Marriage: GAY MARRIAGE?! - YouTube
And I am 100% in support of gay marriage. I know from experience that when a person has a happy marriage it is more likely to last and the children will be happier so lets all promote gay marriage. A smile a day keeps the divorce courts away.

We win people over by love, and by example, not by hatred and legislation.
This is a rather naive claim. Taken to its logical conclusion we have to wipe all laws from the law book and tell the murderer that we have no right to judge you, we have to win you over with love to get you to stop what you are doing.

But wait a minute...if it is not against the law to murder why should we be bothered that he killed someone? If there are no laws there are no wrongdoings. Which means we all have to decide what is acceptable and what isn't.

And that means we go the full circle and make some things wrong and some things right.

You know what I think? The best way we can love a murderer is to hate what he does and make it illegal and then love him and put him in jail for the crime he has committed and protect others who he might murder and give him time to reflect on what he has done and reform his attitude and ideas for the better. Better still people like Prison Fellowship get through to him and he repents and is born again.

I believe that comparing the plights of homosexuals to the horrific history of slaves is hyperbole, but gays are the victims of hate in our nation. Many gays have been killed because of their sexuality. They are indeed victims of hate. I don't see how it is possible to deny that.
How many have been killed? Would you like to know about the law abiding citizens that have been killed by homosexuals?

It has nothing to do with happiness...and finding happiness in things of the world leads to death & hell. Don't get me wrong, I have some of my best friends that are gays but claiming a sin, whatever sin, is okay is really wrong !!!
But then well...once you know the Truth and keep dwelling on sin, it's your problem. People show you the truth but you still deny it...well that means God isn't in your heart and I wish you good luck. I'll be praying for you

I notice that my critics are not very good at answering my questions.
