Is it wrong for women to get tattoos?
I wasn't saying this; it's a matter for the individual conscience to deal with; and many Christians find that faith based ink can be an effective conversation-starter in witness. Some younger women find that their moms dislike tattoos; other young women's moms (and even grandmas) are tattooed themselves. Did your mom have any reaction to yours?

Today women have most definitely achieved tattoo equality, anyway.

PS: These days, for women to get some ink is a bit like getting double/triple ear piercings was 30-35 years ago: a developing trend that later became very widespread and done by all ages. (Make sense?)

I was trying to be hardcore in front of my friends and they already had tats so no one warned me haha
...but despite the way it felt when you were inked there, are you now starting to regret your 'agape' tattoo? :)

Well, it's often a case of what older ppl are accustomed to. When she was younger, it probably wasn't as wide a custom for women - as opposed to male sailors, bikers, etc. - to be tattooed. For you, on the other hand, when you were ready, getting faith related ink probably seemed a quite natural and wholesome thing to do, didn't it?

I could cover them all if I wanted to but, I don't. I am not ashamed of them and I am one of those people who have no regrets about my tats.

I'm a Christian and I have 2 tattoos. I don't regret either, especially because one says walk by faith.

No regrets dear brother
Seems like you Christians as adults making your own choices are pretty confident, with no regrets about having gotten tattooed.

Yes we talked about it. He went way with his wife for vacation so I have to wait until he comes back. Lol
But no I'm more excited than anything.
Prestley: As you embark on your plan, soon, this video about a Bible verse tattoo (if you watch to the end) might be of interest:

#SelloutSunday (Ep 16) - Taking my Mom to get first Tattoo (Easter Edition) - YouTube

I do strongly think that it does not just involve the skin, but it's about having the truth of the Gospel in one's heart.

Blessings.

I got my first one at 18 and as of right now, it's still my only tattoo. I am contemplating getting another though, I'm just not sure what
Gemmy:

Yes, well 18 is when many, many people have it done for the first time. No need to be in a hurry about having it done again before you are sure of the design; but have you considered a faith based one?

Ms. Tash: Sounds as if you liked the idea of wearing a tattoo, anyway. Did you ever consider making it a permanent one, maybe in a faith based design, etc.? something that a lot of Christians are doing now. But it need to be the individual's well planned initiative, because it's very personal.

Blessings.
