Okay, I walked into that one. Still, no need to be a goober.
I had to look up what [or who rather] that was and now I'm offended.

You'll learn something every day hereHonestly, I thought "goober" was an Aussie slang word for a silly/ridiculous person but it looks like I struck gold!![]()
Yeah, I've heard all of that before but again, there's no textual evidence in the Bible for the gap theory. You can jump hoops to create connection but you have to really mess with the text to come to such an understanding.
Creation Ministries International - Creation, Evolution, Apologetics and more! is great at refuting the gap theory, day-age theory, Framework Hypothesis, and I believe theistic evolution and atheistic evolution. Have a look and see for yourself.
I think Genesis was written for a nomadic nation trying to get an idea of Yahweh, and a general history of man. These tribes were assimilated into Egyptian culture and probably had no idea who the God of Abraham truly was. I think the story Moses gave had as much need to know information that was necessary to follow the pillar of smoke/fire through the desert. I think as far as being a complete account of history it falls short in many areas. Many archeological and scientific discoveries cast light on the fact that there was much, much more to the story. Trying to fit everything into the confines of scripture is just going to cause division. Let's face it, nobody really knows or will know in this life. Those with the knowledge prefer to keep us in the dark because that way they can make up anything they want, teach it to the children and remove God from their minds.
I like your post but could you elaborate what you mean with your last sentence?
There are agendas. I'm not saying that everybody is in some conspiracy, however there are those who have made a career on their beliefs. If the archeologists who have been published and quoted on many occasions that everything is a product of evolution and then proven wrong based on their key "evidence" being proved wrong, think of the trickle down effect. All other research and presumption has factored that into others equations, then those have been used to prove that all religions are false. I am stating that much evidence has gone missing and purposely kept hidden at the Smithsonian, to create a false history. We are only allowed to see what those in power want us to see, and even elaborate hoaxes have been laid by them to make the truth seem foolish and conspiratorial. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they start rumours about the Nephilim creating dinosaurs, so we focus on trivial things like this instead of how they are dumbing down are children, and poisoning us (geoengineering). Smoke and mirrors my friend, smoke and mirrors.
What actually happened was the dinosaurs created the nephilim by breeding with the daughters of men that had mustaches.
In (job 2;11) the three friends of Job were,,,"Temanite,,,Shuhite,,,and Naamathite",,,,all three of these genealogies are (POST FLOOD),so (if)Behemoth, nor Leviathan are "PRE-FLOOD". That is if the dinosaurs existed before the flood, and were made extinct (by the flood),,then in job the creatures being spoken of would be past tense,,,,,
That's just what they want you to believe. See its working.Interesting, I will admit it is quite possible evidence could be kept from the public. However, in scientific and academic circles there is much acclaim in introducing a better theory so new evidence would be championed and published to replace old out-dated theories.
Stifling scientific progress as been going on for hundreds of years, eventually the evidence comes out, so if you are right then in time the truth will come out.
As far as starting outlandish theories and dumbing down children, thats a little bit too "conspiracy theory" for me.
From Job 40&41
15“Look at Behemoth,
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
[off-topic]I had to look up what [or who rather] that was and now I'm offended.
