2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
Hi Pres19

Proverbs 11:25

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

"The wicked flee though no one pursues,
but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Proverbs 28:1

Another great verse that I thought of today.

[h=3]Revelation 4:8[/h]
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

Oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in his heart. Zechariah 7:10

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

much as i normally love the authorized KJV, that first clause is a mess in that translation to modern ears. here it is in the ESV:

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this:
to visit orphans and widows in their affliction,
and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Great verse; the very Gospel is summarized in it.

Exactly :) this is why it's one of my favorite quotes and I think about it all the time
The Psalmist talked about hiding the Word in His heart; this verse is certainly one of all-time favorites for Christians to have memorized and meditate on, anyway. Blessings.

It summarizes God's relationship with humanity and the way of salvation, and yes it's the "theme verse" for the entire Bible. It tells us of the love God has for us and the extent of that love—so great that He sacrificed His only Son on our behalf. Teaches us that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, God's Son, will be saved. Gives us the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ. So definitely, I have to think about it all the time.

Its context in chapter 3 of John's Gospel, and the wider theme of God's love in John's Gospel and Epistles, are very instructive also. Blessings.

John 9:2-3 NLT

“Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?” “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.
Prestley: Some people try to guilt-manipulate people to make them think their illnesses are always supposedly a matter of sin in their lives, but Paul said God's grace was sufficient for Him. Blessings.

God hath spoken once;
twice have I heard this;
that power belongeth unto God.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
