You told a demon, for you reject God"s Truth. Those Christ died for keep the Commandments of God perfectly through Him Rom5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Every word you post to me that is not in the Spirit of Christ, I will tell the Lord God.

Agreed. . .and Jesus says he sums up all of them in Mt 22:37-40.
Still is nothing new.
Deut 6:5-9
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.[SUP] [/SUP]These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Lev 19:18
Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

.........and here I was led to believe (in the beginning) that this was going to be a positive thread, edifying the Church by posting Scriptures of the teachings of Jesus..........

.......oh well............

(......not for nothing, but in my opinion, lately around here it seems as if someone opened the asylum doors.......and a flood of folks came rushing into CC........but, now, that MAY just be me.......)

The less you say, the better you will be. This I have told you will edify you if you will obey it.

Now you can praise the Lord for this wonderful blessing I have given you.

You see I gave you a free gift. All you have to do is receive it. How do you receive it. By obeying it.

There's only two. No sense in dragging it out. :)
Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Joh 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

No one has seen or heard the Father at any time, yet we read...

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

Adam and Eve carried on a conversation with someone but it was not the Father...

Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Gen 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Somebody instructed Noah to build an ark but it was not the Father...

Gen 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
Gen 18:8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
Gen 18:13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
Gen 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

The LORD ate, talked and promised a son to Abraham but this was not the Father...

Exo 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

Exo 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
Exo 33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
Exo 33:21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
Exo 33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
Exo 33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Moses spoke face to face with the LORD and saw His form but he didn't see the Father.

Who was this that the patriarchs saw?

Exo 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

1Co 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Co 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

So now that we have identified the God who spoke with, ate with and appeared to men, we find that it was the One who became Jesus Christ. We find that Christ also did this...

Exo 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that
.
.
.
Exo 20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

So now what, He facepalms and says I messed that up I gotta change the Law now because of MY mistakes?

You gotta be kidding me. Apparently you do not know Who Christ really is.

Stephenlevi, i agree with some of what you are saying, but don't you think God can see what people are saying? You keep saying you are going to tell God what people are saying. We are not to be accusers, that is what satan does runs to and fro looking for someone to tattle tale on. You don't need to keep saying i'm telling, since the Almighty can see all and know all, we don't need to keep saying straiten up or i'm telling Dad. Our Lord Christ Jesus be with you all. Amen.

satan will go to God and say did you see what so and so did, what are you going to do about that? Jesus will go before the Father as our mediator and say Father forgive them, they don't know what they are doing.

I am not going to argue with you. God knows what you do and what you do not do. I am here to help those who want to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ and don't at the present time. If you already obey them, then you do not need my help.

Do you want my help Yes or no?
I'm curious.

Why are the Holy Spirit and the NT word of God not enough?

Mt 22:37-40 and the other NT commands seem pretty clear, don't they?

Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
God is spirit, and you can't see a spirit, unless it takes on a physical form, which God does not do.

However, that does not mean God has not taken on a voice and been heard by Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc., as the Scriptures present.

Joh 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me.
Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

No one has seen or heard the Father at any time,
Read it again. . .that is not what it states.

The statement is spoken to and of his audience, not the whole OT.

And you are using this loose handling of the word of God to establish your non-Biblical principle
that it was Jesus speaking in the OT rather than the Father.

There is no reason to posit that it was not the Father speaking to Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc., as is presented in the Scriptures.

So now that we have identified the God who spoke with, ate with and appeared to men,
we find that it was the One who became Jesus Christ.
You have identified no such thing.

Your "identification" has no Biblical basis.

It is a conclusion based in your error regarding the words of the text, where
you change "Ye" (the audience) to all men.

There is no Biblical basis for concluding it was not the Father,
nor does the grammatical construction of Jn 5:37 allow it,
for Jesus uses the personal pronoum "his" to refer back to the noun "Father,"
he does not use it to refer to himself.

This whole notion of Jesus, rather than the Father, speaking to Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc. is simply a human notion woven from whole cloth,
for whatever human purpose you think is necessary.
