I appreciate the view against the claim and am one to take a balanced approach to these things. However, I question those that are so ready to defend this type of stuff as to whether you realize the spiritual warfare that we face. "Unleash the beast"! U really can't draw a comparison? I believe that these last days that our young people are a little blind.

Odd to you, because you haven't been in the conversation. Apparently it has been discussed in places where you have not been or maybe you haven't been paying attention. Not trying to be ugly, maxwell, but NO ONE pays attention to EVERYTHING around them - there is just too much noise and stuff that we can't pay attention to it all.

It's a pity that you completely misunderstand something as vitally important as the New Covenant.

I have just two things to say: Matthew 7:3 and Occam's Razor.
The first is Jesus, Himself, telling us to be inwardly focused, rather than passing judgment on those around us.
We all need to take a hard look in the mirror to solve the mess that is us, or we may start spreading that mess through rumor and innuendo. His words compared the sawdust in our neighbor's eye to the plank in our own. Like Monster energy drinks, or don't like them. But to pass judgment on an entire company, its products and employees based on rumor and innuendo; how big of a plank do you think that points to on our side?
The second, Occam's Razor, is a mathematical argument used in solving problems of logic: where two competing theories reach the same conclusion, the simpler theory is almost always the right one. And remember God created math.
Which is the simpler theory (barring actual evidence to the contrary)? a) the stylized "M" on the can looks the way it does because the graphic artist assigned the project was told it needed to relate to the brand name. Or b) the stylized "M" on the can looks the way it does because there is a massive, hidden conspiracy to place the number "666" on every can in support of satanism.
Someone earlier said we should apply logic, calling this probably a silly Internet hoax. And then used no logic in explaining away the logical arguments of others, saying the more complicated theory could not be dis-proven, since we couldn't see into the mind(s) of the person(s) responsible.
But that in itself is not logical; we don't need to see anything but evidence. The Hebrew alphabet is only evidence that the three segments of the stylized "M" could resemble one of three different characters. That's it. What is missing is any evidence that directly ties that resemblance to the conclusions of the theory. Barring evidence to the contrary, logic tells us we should adopt the simpler theory.
So, one more image before we leave this topic. It's right from this page. Is it symbolism that Satan is winning the argument, or just that this is the last of six pages? Which is the simpler theory? Barring evidence to the contrary, these three sixes (two in front, and one emphasized at the end) just point to the last page as I posted this:

For what it is worth, I don't believe that energy drinks are good, as in healthy, for anyone. I know that if you are not careful with them, they WILL KILL you. Having said that, I have drank them. And I have, without paying attention, drank 5 Monsters in one night (the can says not to drink more than two in a 24-hour period when I used to stock groceries). Later that day, my chest felt like it was hollow (that is the best way that I can think of to describe it). My wife listened to my heart beat and said that it was beating real fast for a few seconds and then would stop and then beat fast for a few seconds and then stop...and so on. So I caution anyone who drinks energy drinks or is thinking about it. They are not safe.
As for the symbol on the can, I did not know about this until this thread. I definitely do not think it has any biblical bearing beyond the fact that the symbol does look like three Hebrew 6's. I do understand that it does not mean 666, but 6 6 6.
Here's the deal. I wholeheartedly believe that this company intentionally put this on their product (to be funny, clever - I don't care) combined with the name "Monster". In my opinion, this should be enough to keep us from giving money to this company.
And like I said before, they are dangerous, especially if you drink too many of them.
Revelation 13:17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Again I don't think this shows us anything, except that people carelessly play with scripture that they don't understand. And so they put both just to be sure that we didn't miss it! Ignorance, arrogance, and foolishness on the part of this company.

People (Christians), specialy teens, calling themselves little monsters. Men enjoying the idea of a relationship with a MILF. Witchcraft and wizardry as a childhood dream. Cartoons of monsters or kids stabbing other characters like it was nothing... The name of the Lord mentioned in every conversation... You study in Bible schools reading every chapter, verse and phrase. You should know what is santan's work and what isnt. People are saying that the end is near. I guess it will be because we accept satan in our daily lives by patronizing those mentioned above. The things that the devil use to deceive people. If you have been arming yourselves with the Lord's teachings, what BFC stands for would tell you that this is the devil's work. As you have mentioned, nobody knows when that "Day" will be... But it is going to happen.
