I like the Spanish Colonial architecture in the Southwestern US.
It is nice. I like it a lot as well. It definitely has its own charm.

Kind of throwback to the Old World, even though very typical of Mexico, etc.
Blessings.
Well yes there is a lot of spanish, Mexican and even Native architecture and design.
Really? Ill have to check that out.
What's that amazing Montezuma 'palace' or whatever someplace in the Southwest? I think it's native American architecture, carved out of the rock.
Blessings.
This is the Alamo, right?
San Antonio.
The name of that place isn't ringing any bells. Ill have to look it up.
PS: If I can find the link, I could send you the URL if you wanted, of the piece Benny Andersson composed for the Swedish Crown Princess's wedding.
Blessings.

we were conquer ourselves most of the time
PS: I didn't mean 'palace', I meant 'castle', even though it's not a castle in the strict meaning of the term.
Blessings.
Sarah: Oh yes, you're right; but I was referring to the Montezuma place, actually.I cant say for sure but wasn't the Alamo used for military defense? Thats what castles were used for.
