Exodus 20:[SUP]8 [/SUP]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

[SUP]11 [/SUP]For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

(a commandment) don't we all agree?

Mark 6:
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

Jesus keeping the Sabbath not sunday.

To be a Christian mean to be a follower of Jesus Christ so why are so many Christians avoiding this one simple thing. Sunday worship did not come from Christ.

John 5:
[SUP]46 [/SUP]For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.
[SUP]47 [/SUP]But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

The Sabbath is not for Christians.

The Sabbath was given to Israel as a Sign (Ezek. 20:11-20).

Also; Christians back in the first century met on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7 & 1 Cor. 16:2).

The sabbath is for Israel. Israel is the world. The sabbath is neither Saturday or Sunday as God is such everyday of our created week .

God's word was always given to Israel first they where the chosen priest to teach all of children of Adam. Deut. 7:6
Even Jesus set this orderup upon his ministry Matt. 10:6. Please read Acts 13:42-47

So you are saying that Exo.20:11 is false? The Lord did not blessed the Sabbath day? This verse is only pointing to one day.

The Sabbath was to be a holy day of rest for Israel. Take a look at the Law as related to the Sabbath.

Sunday is a day of celebration and renewal for Christians. It is the day that we celebrate a new life through Christ, and prepare our bodies and mind for a new week.

Luke 4:16 [SUP] [/SUP]And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Again Jesus also said that Moses wrote of him and how can you believe him if you did not believe Moses. John 5:46-47. If Sunday is day of celebration then that means you disagree with the Lord's word in Lev. 23:1-3 where it mentions the Sabbath being a holy convocation. Your thinking applies to what was mentioned in Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Exodus 20:10 KJV
(10) But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Isaiah 56:6 KJV

(6) Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

The Bible disagrees with you

Religion is ran on money and therefore vanity. God is good on sundays too. When this economy falls we are commanded to rest. All of us.

Religion was started by man so that is agreed upon. But simple questions, to make these statements as you are making would mean that man is smarter that God and has fooled him to make a commandment that can no longer stand because he forgot his days. So Exodus 20:8-10 means nothing to you right.

In fact the Sabbath for strangers/gentiles in chapter 56 of Isaiah is prophetic and finds its fullest fulfillment after the death resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

There is only one weekly Sabbath mentioned in the bible.

Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

God spoke it God wrote it.

God says the 7th day is the Sabbath, Man says its Sunday or any day you like.

Mat_15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

either God is right or man:

Rom_3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar...

I am going to go with God.

There is not one scripture that says the 7th day Sabbath is changed.
There is not one Scripture that says that Sunday is the Sabbath or for that matter any other day other than the 7th.
There is not one scripture that says that rest in Jesus replaces the 7th day Sabbath.

All man made doctrine.

It was a shadow. A repetitous act to teach of the pattern God set forth.
Remember God does not dwell in buildings made with human hands.

Mark 1:21[SUP] [/SUP]And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

You don't think he conducted himself this way on this day for a reason. Christian are FOLLOWERS of Christ Luke 1:6

where does the scripture say that the 7th day Sabbath was a shadow?

My question is in regards to the 7th day/weekly Sabbath and not the feast Sabbaths which indeed were shadows. But the Sabbath does not point forward but backwards to creation. The 7th day Sabbath came after creation not before.

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Again not what I'm saying. I'm saying going to church on Saturday is no better or worse than going to one in Sunday. When the true sabbath of the commandment is instituded even the animals will rest. All is ran by money. Who will work without a paycheck?

Peace in Jesus name to you THANKS.

2 Cor. 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

So why did Jesus go in on the Sabbath. I do agree that the after the 6000 years will become the 7000th year because a day to the Lord is a 1000 years but when dealing with flesh and blood the Lord set up the commandment of the weekly Sabbath.
