We need to follow the law of Love, Not the law of moses.
If you do follow the law of love, you will pretty much follow the law of Moses by default.
We need to follow the law of Love, Not the law of moses.
I am curious about how Sabbath keeping works today... I think cat tow on Sabbath OK, but I think all days alike...blessings to all! This question should probably direct to those who don't observe the Sabbath but request those who do to abide by the whole law including animal sacrifices. They probably know and care about a lot more details on the "how to's".
And what do you think about towing a car out of a ditch on the Sabbath?
In other words, the school master has it's place in this world.lol.. Well if we were talking about the WORLD. you would be correct. But we are not. we are talking of individual people.
if the schoolmaster has not yet been fulfilled in YOU.
1. You are not saved
2. You are not headed to heaven, but to hell
3. You are not a child of God
4. You are still satans child
5. You better open your eyes, and listen to the schoolmaster, so you can be saved.
For those of us who are saved, We need to follow the law of Love, Not the law of moses. which could never show us how to love, and Do Gods will in the way HE wants us to do.
You might think all days are alike, but scripture says they aren't.I am curious about how Sabbath keeping works today... I think cat tow on Sabbath OK, but I think all days alike...blessings to all!
You are trying to put the law of love and the law of resting in the Lord rather than your work into legalistic terms. I would have to be the Lord to know all that is in your heart, all of how the car in the ditch contributed to love of the Lord and the people you are responsible for, I would have to be God to answer that.
Perhaps, in your case, leaving the car there until after the day you designated as your Sabbath is right. Perhaps, it would harm those you were responsible for, so in love you needed it out. It would be between you and God, there is no rule above the rule of love and resting on the Sabbath.
The Talmud has a lot of how to do it rules, and Christ said that was man made. Man has made a lot of rules saying you don't need to have a special day for the Lord, that is like the Talmud, it is man made.
I think it's okay to do deeds for others on the Sabbath as well as the other days too. The Father has never stopped working according to His Son but on the other hand He said on the seventh day he rested. If one figures out what He has not stopped one could possibly understand how to honor the Sabbath in His way.I am curious about how Sabbath keeping works today... See? That's the reason I asked Dan_473 to ask those who do not observe Sabbaths because they are experts in the "how to's"."And what do you think about towing a car out of a ditch on the Sabbath?"
I was thinking why is the car in the ditch on the Sabbath? (assuming they're Sabbatarians).
And if it is a friend's car who is a non Sabbatarian, then who is driving a vehicle that can do the tow (surely not our sabbatarian friend)?
And if a regular tow truck company then what's the issue?
There are Sabbath keepers and there are Sabbath keepers. The important thing is how you understand the Word and go from there and not letting anyone tell you to do or not to do such and such. On the other hand, discussion on how to is okay as long as we have an open mind.I think you are saying yes, OK to tow car on Sabbath... because it is physical thing... what is general thinking among Sabbath keepers?
And the law of love was first spoken through Moses by the Word of God and one sees the result when His word is pulled out of context. If you do follow the law of love, you will pretty much follow the law of Moses by default.
A change here or there... Jesus didn't kill adulterers.... blessings to you!If you do follow the law of love, you will pretty much follow the law of Moses by default.
Because He said He came not to judge. Remember? Can't guarantee that the next go around though.A change here or there... Jesus didn't kill adulterers.... blessings to you!
For Christian, acts done in love on any day are good to do... so for actions, all days alike, yes?You might think all days are alike, but scripture says they aren't.
Gen 2:3 God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, for on it He rested from His work of creation.
When God makes something holy, God it is setting it apart from other days to be dedicated just to Him.
Sounds like it gets real complex real fast... also sounds like some Sabbath folks say it's up to the individual"And what do you think about towing a car out of a ditch on the Sabbath?"

Honor the Sabbath by doing good, I suppose... the Sabbath and every day? Blessings allI think it's okay to do deeds for others on the Sabbath as well as the other days too. As a non-sabbath-er, I say car (or cat) tow okSee? That's the reason I asked Dan_473 to ask those who do not observe Sabbaths because they are experts in the "how to's".![]()

Do what? The standard of the law can not be kept by anyone. If what yuo claim is true, NO ONE will be saved, is saved, or has any hope of being saved. In other words, if anyone who claims he's saved but his actions fail the standard of the school master he's not really saved.
You said "for those of us who are saved, we need to follow the law of love". "We need to"? I thought it's should have been a life style. Work on it will you?
