"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and
the mountains fall into the heart of the sea"
Psalm 46:1-2 (NASB)
I for one struggle with this everyday. I found my self one day getting so anxious about something, once the event finally came up I would be so nervous and afraid my body would trigger what's called the fight or flight instincts. Obviously I couldn't fight or flee like I was crazy. So these chemicals that are released to the brain had no where to go. Triggering panic attack and I had no idea what was going on until my mind shut down on me. Woke up pale white face bleeding from hitting a table and sick to my stomach. God led me to a psychologist and I got better but still the anxiety tries to rule over my mind. They say it all lies within the subconscious and that's where the anxiety begins.
If any one has advise or even their own story please post it. I would love to see how other people handle fear of the unknown- def. of anxiety.
