I've been hearing the 'sex and seniors is on the rise' headlines for a long time.
Though as far as this claim, are there any other links to more verifiable sources that prove this is as extreme as the link suggests? This is a small site, i've never heard of , making outrageous claims with no evidence. So far the link just makes me think of sensationalism more than journalism.

Well... since you have to peek with your eyeball through a peep hole ...... I can see why you
feel it is just a small site. But to appease you, I will go searching. Are you thinking of moving
to Florida ?
 
So the older Folk are not dead from the waist down... I don't condone immorality, I just found it quite funny... we worry about the Older Folk and sex on the rise among them when teenagers as young as 12 fall pregnant in some countries....

In the last days it will be like the days of Noah ... Just saying.

Tash... I had same thought as you .... I mean there is viagra, cialis, .....
I did have to laugh at one link I found that was selling The Village and
the ad was saying how wonderful it would be for the grandchildren to visit
grandparents... I thought ... I think not...

Seriously, I did discover through some articles (news) I could have brought
list of names of perverts who are known pedophiles that are living in some
of the Villages. So... there we have it.. It is not a joke.. it is real...


The first thing that came to my mind was the "Golden Girls" and Blanche
and her "hot" dates.. I thought it was just a part of the show and a joke
really. There is a saying and it is not scripture... There may be snow on
the mountain but there is fire in the furnace..... Gasp:::::::::::::::::

The article from on the initial thread spoke of even more perversion... I think we were
writing at the same time. Who is to blame here anyway ? We aren't talking pre-teens
and teens. We are talking adults... Oh, I know this will never go away... but it seems it
has become so common, people don't blink an eye at what goes on.

My original thread also said this is being done in public. I can't verify that.. just quoting.
That was why as I told Tash... when I saw a legitimate ad for the Villages, the grandchildren
would love to visit their grandparents there..... and be safe... Oh, really ? I ran into a link
that was listing pedophiles living in the Villages.

Our Lord must need to turn His head at what is going on all over the Earth.... But, ther
is nothing new, is there?

hahaha... I'm a little young to retire yet. And broke, more specifically hahaha. But actually i was raised in West Palm Beach, FL from the time i was 6 til i left at 21. No plans on ever going back. =P

Weren't these the same people who kicked off the free love era in the 60s and 70s? One article stated this generation was not taught about the importance of condoms, umm, this generation was taught much better ways of abstinence and courting, but decided cheap sex was better. I guess a lifetime hasn't made them any wiser. (Present company from this generation excluded, of course:p)

Still, this is NOT the picture I had in mind of Grandma and Grandpa.

Thank the Lord I was married in 1963. But, you know seriously most we
worried about was getting pregnant. And yes men did get syphilis from
being with women and they did have antibiotic for that.

I was raising my children in the 70's and trying so hard to instill morality
and NO SEX in them... I really did not know how rampant things were.
I had heard few years ago my age group were beginning to experience
these diseases.

I remember my granddaughter, who was in middle school, lying in bed
telling me what films she had to watch of sexually transmitted diseases.
Oh, gross. I am afraid our young ones are more active than we want.

As for the old timers.... It is just that.. the signs of the times.. No morals
for many... I feel sorry for those who try to abstain as Christians and
have to either get married or just quit dating if their hormones are still
active.
Again I repeat God keep our young safe... and may a great revival
break out. Is it too late ?
