23 You who fear the Lord, praise Him!
All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him,
And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!

121 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

If his sons forsake My law
And do not walk in My judgments,
If they break My statutes
And do not keep My commandments,

Then I will punish their transgression with the rod,
And their iniquity with stripes.

Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him,
Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.
My covenant I will not break,
Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.

I will sing with joy because of you.
I will sing praise to you, Almighty God.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
I will fear no one.
The Lord protects me from all danger;
I will never be afraid.

Your eyes will see the King in His beauty;
They will behold a far-distant land.

For the Lord is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.

My son, give attention to my wisdom,
Incline your ear to my understanding;

For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord,
And He watches all his paths.

Psalm 133:1-3
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Some wandered in desert wastes,
finding no way to a city to dwell in;
hungry and thirsty,
their soul fainted within them.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
He led them by a straight way
till they reached a city to dwell in.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
For he satisfies the longing soul,
and the hungry soul he fills with good things

Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed,
and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.

hey hope your well, i just looked up your scripture and it turns out there is a doctrin that makes a claim that people say that God repented when he said this.
The doctrine also mentions another scripture where God relents something.
Some people say relent an repent is the same thing.
1 samuel 15:11 “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me,

Moral difficulties in the old testement

Both affirmations are made about God-God repented and God never repents.
The chapter is 1 samuel 15 in verse 11 it reads: "I am grieved that i have made saul king, because he has turned away from me, verse 29 just as strongly affirms, He who is the Glory of isreal does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a man that should change his mind. "Yet Exdodus 32:14 which say that "then the lord relented and did not bring on his people the disater he had threatened" must be weighed with johna ways, he had compassion and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened, "The ninvites, then, reaped the benifit of a deliverance from their repentance that led to Gods repentance. Isreal, too, was often the beneficaries that led to Gods repentance. Isreal, too was often the benficiaries of this same repentance. But he took note of their distress when he heard thier cry: for thier sake he remembered his convenant and out of his great love he relented: (ps 106:11-45).

Genesis 9:5-6 Genesis 9:5-6New King James Version (NKJV)

5 Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man.
6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood,
By man his blood shall be shed;
For in the image of God
He made man.

further moral difficulties in the old t

almost as frequently as the old testament mentions the repentance of god it argues that he is unchangeable.

Over and over again, Scriptures stresses how patient, long suffering, and slow to anger God is: However, never once does he evidence apathy or indifference.

The word to "repent, is almost always used of God in its change in his actions and emotions towards men so as not to change in his basic character. God repentance does not prove him to be fickle, mutable, and variable in his nature or purpose.

if God had willed to treat the ninevites after their repentance as he had threatened to treat them before their repentance, this would have proved him mutable.

It would have revealed him as displeased at one time with penitence.

Gods repentance, then, is a form of anthropomorphism that dares to picture the God-man relationship in terms of our everyday lives.
While these anthropomorphism (the decision of god in human forms) and particularly, in this case, anthropomorphism (the description of God
