A forum to discuss history? Church history, world history, etc?

I would be all for this!! I did two history projects, and they helped me grow in the Lord in a powerful way, just my all alone, do it myself projects. One was the history of the development of our church in the first 500 years, going on to search for all the results of church councils for the next 500. The other was the history of how God has worked with the Jewish race since Christ.

I could find no one interested in these things but I needed people to help and share, surely with our wide audience there would be someone who would like to study how God works in our world through studying history.

I love history but I want world history not just the history of the protestant church or the bible.

I appreciate the answers, but I personally don't like groups since most of the time no one really goes on them.

How would you know that if you don't go?

History is a huge subject, even world history can be studied from different viewpoints. If you want history with God taken out of it, that takes some effort. God is in control of history. Will Durant (author Story of Civilization in 11 volumes) started out that way, ended saying no one who knew history could deny God.

Where are you getting anyone said anything about not wanting God in history? No one said that.

Raf (not spokenpassage) said he would be interested in World history, but not the history of the protestant church. But that still isn't excluding God.
