No christian lives right...every Christian Survives by the Grace of God.no sin is 'more harmful' than another sin.Anything that keeps you away from God is a sin.Leading a Perfect Sinless Life requires 24/7 fellowship with God.Its achieved through Grace of God and Practise.
If someone told or convinced you they stopped sinning after coming to Christ they lied to you..
Now depending upon the sin or addiction that you have,its affect on your life might be different.But in all cases except 'blaspheming the Holy Ghost' is and will be forgiven..
If you sin more Pray more than the time you took to sin and Repent truly everytime you fell.God will Deliver you.Have Patience.
The dog-devil is not afraid of you but he trembles at the Name of Jesus.More you cry for help,more God will Deliver you and someday you will direct others to Jesus who went through same probs.
Christian life is Sharing Jesus and Sharing like Jesus.And even if you became weak He becomes Stronger so you dont perish.Walk Humbly before God and you will see His Glory!Always Strive to be Humble.Ask God for that because all sins we commit are rooted in self - pride.
