"What does the Bible say about pornography!"

By far, the most searched for terms on the internet are related to pornography. Pornography is rampant in the world today. Perhaps more than anything else, Satan has succeeded in twisting and perverting sex. He has taken what is good and right (loving sex between a husband and wife) and replaced it with lust, pornography, adultery, rape, and homosexuality.

Pornography can be the first step on a very slippery slope of ever-increasing wickedness and immorality (Romans 6:19). The addictive nature of pornography is well documented. Just as a drug user must consume greater and more powerful quantities of drugs to achieve the same “high,” pornography drags a person deeper and deeper into hard-core sexual addictions and ungodly desires were children are victims of abuse because of mans desires for sex and lust and power and control.

There are three main categories of sin:
1) lust of the flesh,
2) lust of the eyes,
3) and the pride of life. (1 John 2:16).

Pornography definitely causes us to lust after flesh, and it is undeniably a lust of the eyes. Pornography definitely does not qualify as one of the things we are to think about, according to Philippians 4:8. Pornography is addictive
(1 Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19), and destructive (Proverbs 6:25-28; Ezekiel 20:30; Ephesians 4:19).

Lusting after other people in our minds, which is the essence of pornography, is offensive to God (Matthew 5:28). When habitual devotion to pornography characterizes a person’s life, it demonstrates the person is not saved (1 Corinthians 6:9).

TIME TO CHANGE NOW BEFORE IT GETS TOO LATE.

For those involved in pornography, God can and will give the victory. If you are involved with pornography and desire freedom from it? Here are some steps to victory and to serve God for real......

1) Confess your sin to God (1 John 1:9).
2) Ask God to cleanse, renew, and transform your mind (Romans 12:2).
3) Ask God to fill your mind with Philippians 4:8.
4) Learn to possess your body in holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4).
5) Understand the proper meaning of sex and rely on your spouse alone to meet that need (1 Corinthians 7:1-5).
6) Realize that if you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
7) Take practical steps to reduce your exposure to graphic images. Install pornography blockers on your computer, limit television and video usage, and find another Christian who will pray for you and help keep you accountable.

That fornicators and adulterers have no inheritance in the Kingdom Of God!

yep already covered that in the scriptures. LOL. The heading is not a question, its a statement. But yes true that No fornicators, adulterers will have no inheritance in the kingdom of God.

HAHA I just read the OP Heading and answered.....Pornography comes from a Greek word.....which is also the root of Fornicator if I remember right...could be wrong as I am really tired today so....:)

Notice not many people has read this thread tho, hehe,. But its ok. I know God will deal with those who are involved with this subject.

Pornography falls in many categories like adultery and fornication for when lust is involved then the flesh is dominant 20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as all of you would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall mourn for many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

las·civ·i·ous /ləˈsivēəs/

adjective

(of a person, manner, or gesture) feeling or revealing an overt and often offensive sexual desire.

Use lascivious to describe a person's behavior that is driven by thoughts of sex. If someone gives you a lascivious smile, they've got only one thing in mind.

Latin-based lascivious and the Old English word lust both share the same Indo-European root las- "to be eager, wanton." The much older word lust originally meant "desire, pleasure" and over time developed to mean sexual desire. Lascivious, on the other hand, entered the English language in the early 15th century complete with the meaning "lewd, driven by sexual desire."

Therefore all sexual immorality begins at the mind . And opens a gateway for actual sin that is what .jesus came to do to teach the right form of thought frame that you will not sin

In this paper we shall study the Greek word " porneia ". In Matthew's Gospel this is the word used by Jesus to define the sexual sin which He says is the only valid ground for divorce and freedom to remarry with a new partner. This is a very important question. It is not simply an isolated theoretical discussion about the meaning of a Greek word.
It is about our understanding of the Gospel. It is about whether or not our hearts are hard. It is about Jesus' definition of the sin of adultery. It is about whether people who divorce and then remarry, can inherit the Kingdom of God.
It affects the nature of our dealings with people we know who, depending on what Jesus really meant, may be living in adultery.
In our time many modern Greek scholars tell us that according to the Greek lexicons, " porneia " is a broad word defining sexual sin of all kinds. This broad meaning is then applied to the specific case of divorce, using it to justify divorce AND REMARRIAGE on the ground of ADULTERY.
However, the same scholars also tell us that " porneia ", does have other more restrictive meanings. This does leave the possibility open that, from amongst the several meanings available to them, they may have chosen the wrong one to apply to the "exceptive clause".
In fact there are other scholars who do argue that " porneia " is a much more specific word which does not include adultery. http://home.pacific.net.au/~amaxwell/bdigest/bd39bbs.htm

There's a statistic which says that 80% of all Christians have had premarital sex. Divorce rates among conservative Christians were significantly higher than for other faith groups, and much higher than Atheists and Agnostics experience. About 50% of marriages fail. What percentage of Christian marriages fail, and why do you think that numb

If fornicators and adulterers won't inherit the kingdom of God, it seems a lot of us are in some serious trouble. And I dare say, that if "lust" is a death sentence, we are all hellbound. Most of us have a natural attraction (lust) towards the opposite sex (God given). Would anyone ever get married and multiply without an initial lustful attraction towards the opposite sex? While I agree that we need to control our flesh, a bit of lust is natural.

Its important to clarify that any repentant sinner can inherit the kingdom of heaven. I fear that many young Christians throw in the towel because they can't adhere to resisting natural attraction. "Lust for a woman and you'll burn in hell" is a strict standard that few young men can uphold. I by no means am advocating pornography, but don't belief that natural desires are necessarily sinful.

Yashushua hamashiach did say broad is the way to destruction and narrow is the path that leads to eternal life and also said many are the called but few are the chosen , jesus provided the way to the circumcision of the heart through the holy spirit gift prayer in the spirit is a helper in the transformation process , its up 2 the believers to use the gift to their edification

The term you used was natural healthy sexual desires wich is only lawful within a marriage , but to those that allows perversion to sink in due to an unhealtgy mind and maybe a lack of human respect that they should defole themselves like i said it starts in the mind and poisons the heart and soul .to battle unhealthy thought to prevent sexual immmorality one needs help of the Holy Ghost
