New creationist museum explains how Noah managed to fit dinosaurs on the ark - Weird News - News - The Independent

A new creationist museum has been opened that claims Noah brought baby dinosaurs aboard the ark because larger ones would not fit in or live as long.

The Northwest Science Museum Vision Centre, which opened its doors on 14 June, has been established to counter "mainstream science" with exhibits about life on Earth as created by God in six days 6,000 years ago, according to the Bible

Yes, Creation Ministries International, the Creation Science Movement and Answers In Genesis already share similar beliefs. I don't know why they don't all just pool together their resources and make something awesome.

YEC is incapable of being seriously entertained as an objective scientific venue. It simply doesn't meet a sufficient number of scientific criteria -- namely, falsifiability and evidential support. There's really no justifiable reason for the museum's name.

Its a shame when well meaning christians try to pass this stuff off as ''science''.

Its a manipulation in my opinion. Most christians are anti-science and have little scientific background and are easily fooled.

Shame on you

science.jpg Attempting to say Dinos were on the ark........How did all of those species magically die out while every other creature lived?

It's a shame when brothers and sisters in Christ attack their own. Shame on you!

You take the whole bible as the word of God. Some ignore the bits they don't like. I admire your conviction.

It was a creationist that spoke to me and challenged my world view that caused me to turn to the living God.
So from my perspective, kudos to them! Science is great, i love when people discover how God made thing but not when it's worshipped by the mainstream secular.
EDIT: Woah, just reading that article now, their saying what I said in another thread earlier about taking dinosaurs on the ark...

There is no mention of dino's in the bible.

The bible has no mention of the age of the earth.

Old earth belief has nothing to do with evolution.....

do we have to go through all this again? The fact is this, to suggest man and dinos lived together is blatant ignorance and a 6000 yr old earth has no scientific or biblical foundation and is the belief of perverters of the word and science.

If you want to use half truths, be my guest but there will always be a counter to the deceptions satan uses. Its called...

light.

Bright.....ain't it?

So if the eye appears to contradict the ear go with the eye at all costs?
Should what we observe empirically trump what we hear in God's Word?
I do hear.."And the evening and the morning were the first day. "

For someone so opposed to liberalism, you sure don't seem to mind being liberal when it suits. Like I said. Shame on you!

Evolution literally has nothing to do with liberalism or conservatism. That's like saying a person is being liberal when they say their favorite color is blue. Or that a person is conservative if they accept the fact that the Earth revolves around the sun.

Conservatism and liberalism has to do with politics and economics. Evolution isn't a political or economical statement.

Furthermore, 'liberal' and 'conservative' are merely loose terms used to describe a person's overall political and/or economical leanings. One doesn't have to accept all liberal views or all conservative views. But, this is really a moot point since the acceptance of evolution has nothing to do with either liberalism or conservatism.

Dinosaur is a modern word refering to extinct creatures. Back in Genesis etc they were not extinct. there are plenty of animals alive today which are not in the bible. Lot 40 and 41 describes a huge creature which obviously is not alive today and is most likely the creature which is refereed to around the world as a Dragon and is therefore a dinosaur.

YEC is incapable of being seriously entertained as an objective scientific venue. It simply doesn't meet a sufficient number of scientific criteria -- namely, falsifiability and evidential support.

actually it does meet those criteria...

see for example dr. russell humphreys' theory of the magnetic fields of the planets...which he suggested based on the biblical statement that the universe was created from water about 6,000 years ago...

humphreys used his hypothesis to make specific predictions about the magnetic fields of planets that had not yet been visited by space probes...the predictions would be tested by comparing the predictions with the measurements made by the space probes when they arrived...any measurement that failed to match the predictions would have falsified humphreys' hypothesis...

when the space probes arrived it turned out that humphreys' predictions were actually -better- than the predictions made by the secular models...particularly in the case of the planet uranus...

another prediction made by humpheys' model was recently supported by a space probe to the planet mercury...

so humphreys' theory meets both of the criteria you claim that young earth creationism doesn't meet...but to be aware of all of this requires making an effort to inform yourself instead of just uncritically accepting the caricature of young earth creationism that is presented by its opponents...

Son in general has conservative beliefs. I'm not talking politics or economics, I don't understand either when it comes to America. I'm talking about theology.

False. There was a wide variety of dinosaurs big and small, thousands upon thousands of species that never lived with man.

There are species going extinct probably everyday, millions in the history of the earth including several total anihilations.

I know this isn't going to be heard but I will try....believing in an old earth has nothing to do with the flawed theory of evolution.

Its not me perverting the bible...show me the verse where it says how old the earth is...or the spiritual significance of the age of the earth.

There is none. A young earth is a fairy tale made up by ignorant people to make the creation story fit into their limited intelligence and theological knowledge.

I don't see liberalism at work here. It was not me twisting scripture to fit a very poor unbiblical and non-scientific position.

Please define to me, in the universal sense what a morning and night is. Is a morning the same on Mars as it is on Mercury.....or how about a planet two billion light years from here? Is time constant in the universe? What effects time?

Is God subject to His creation, time?

easy...get baby ones...also there is evidence that supports the young earth theory...My Bible says In the beginning God created.... there can only be one beginning. Have you considered the fact that it would only take about 1 million yrs to produce more people that the planet could accommodate?
